DO NOT BE AFRAID!! -- I have never installed anything like this and I kept thinking I needed extra parts and basically using that as an excuse. - You do not need any special fuse connection. You can push the wire into the slot and push the fuse back into it. I did purchase a 8 dollar connectivity tester. To make sure the supply of power was on when the car was off. - All that said - The wires pushed easily into the interior of the vehicle with the tools and the quality of videos and photos is far above my expectations.

My only complaint was with shipping. It started off in NY, and only needed to go to MA. For some reason though, UPS sent my package on a cross country tour, shipping it to CA, then KY, then finally back to the east coast and to MA. So the quoted shipping time went from two to three days to almost two weeks. There weren't even any tracking updates for the first five days. When the package finally arrived, the box was crushed and wet (it was not raining that day). Luckily the item however was undamaged. The seller was great though, responded promptly, and followed up with UPS to find my package. The product is as described. One of the best professional level dashcams available, suitable for use by black car services.
