Customer Insights: Rated 4.4/5 from 10 reviews.
The game arrived in perfect condition, installed without issues, and the graphics and presentation are impressive. Great game for fans of action RPGs and fantasy. The combat is fun, the environments look great, and character customization adds replay value. It has a bit of a learning curve, but it's rewarding once you get into it. Definitely worth picking up if you enjoy hack-and-slash games. Looking forward to diving into the adventure!
I picked this up because I enjoy action RPGs, and it has been a lot of fun so far. The combat is fast-paced, and I like that each of the four heroes has a distinct playstyle, so there's plenty of variety depending on how you want to play. The world is large with lots of different environments to explore, which helps keep the gameplay from feeling repetitive. The character progression is one of the highlights. The Ancestral Grid skill system lets you create unique builds, and it gives you a reason to keep playing and trying different combinations. Co-op is also a great addition, especially if you have friends who enjoy dungeon crawlers and loot-based games. The shared progression and trading system make playing together feel worthwhile. Overall, this is a solid action RPG with enjoyable combat, good customization, and lots of replay value. If you're a fan of hack-and-slash games with cooperative play and character building, this is an easy recommendation.
This is a fun ARPG. Story seems pretty interesting. Has CO-OP multiplayer, which is always a plus. Worth checking out, especially if you like games like Diablo.
This game is better then i excepted and worth the time playing it, its got great graphics and the playing is really good the level up is easy and building your city is pretty cool. This game definitely has what i like
This game for PS5 is really fun! I didn't say I was good at it... but it's FUN!!! LOL
looks fun. can't wait to play
If you are looking for a fun action RPG to slay monsters without paying full triple A prices, Dragonkin The Banished is actually pretty solid. It definitely has some lower budget vibes in a few spots, but the combat loop and build crafting kept me hooked way longer than I expected. What works really well The combat feels punchy and satisfying as you clear out waves of corrupted dragon beasts. You get four classes to pick from, plus a little dragon companion that fights alongside you. The absolute best part of the game is the skill system called the Ancestral Grid. Instead of just picking stuff off a simple tree, you slot skills and modifiers onto a grid to tweak your build. It gives you a ton of freedom to experiment without forcing you to commit forever. Building up your home town between runs is another nice touch that makes overall progression feel rewarding. What could be better The story is pretty forgettable and the voice acting gets a bit cheesy at times. The menus and map interface can also feel a bit clunky when you are trying to manage your inventory quickly on a controller. Performance on PS5 It runs great on PS5. The frame rate stays smooth even when the screen gets packed with enemies and flashy spell effects. Loading times are fast and co-op works smoothly if you want to play with friends. Overall It might not have the massive budget of something like Diablo, but for the price tag, you get plenty of depth, great combat, and awesome build customization. Definitely worth picking up if you like top down hack and slash games.
Pros: alternstive to Diablo game, similar system, physical copy is a plus Cons: disc was flopping around the case when was new and damaged case... otherwise its a cheaper game in my book.
I've only gotten a couple of hours in, and so far, it's not bad. But then again, it's only been a couple of hours 😆 That's the ONLY reason for rating it a 4 star. As an associate, this is my honest review.
Dragonkin's gameplay is an isometric rpg very akin to modern day Diablo games. Action takes place with multiple classes and with many abilities to choose from. Player found gameplay to be able to be picked up easily but customizing your skills was handled differently than Diablo to give the player a little more control of how they want to play rather than just percent increases. Character customization isnt great outside of putting on different armor and each character has backstories attached to other main characters. Fighting in the game feels fine if not a little empty. Some items have physics and some enemies fly when you hit them. But the game doesn't have good controller rumble and you can't really feel the hits while playing. Graphics: Dragonkin's graphics doesn't really have much going for it outside of some skill animations. It looks like a game made for the ps3 which isnt terrible but it could be prettier. The color pallet consists of many dark colors and is very drab. However, it has an artstyle that is unique for some characters like the Rager. Finally, the UI is smooshed together adn you ahve lots of seeting to play with abut mothing to remove or cusomize the uI to help unclutter it. Sound: the music in the game has the usual flair of a grim dark story such as this not somehting uplifiting as Final fantasy. Sound effects for the attacks are loud and punchy, though sometimes the audio mixing isnt done well. Characters talking while youa re fighting sometimes cancels each other out and it is hard to pay attention to what is beign said .Overall 2.0 out of 5 rating.
