I purchased this book in order to participate in an upcoming 40-day prayer event at church before Easter. It will provide a daily reading. I'm looking forward to reading it over the span of 40 days! I appreciated finding it for a really good price and it arrived quickly in excellent condition. Thank you.

Since this purchase was a book, any review is subjective. I bought it on the recommendation of my pastor, as a study on prayer with the entire congregation using the same book. Powerful book.

This book is inspiring and is organized in 40 daily readings that make it easy to get through the book no matter how busy life may be!

Far beyond what expected. I purchased this while groaning that I had to buy it for a church fast. (ONLY because I didn't think I could afford it on my tight student budget.) I thought this book might turn out to be another book that I book I would add to my growing christian book collection- most of which I haven't finished. However, I ended up falling in love with the content AND the author! (Also the online-order was super easy) I'm a 24 y/o female and I highly recommend this book for ANYONE who would like to learn clear and practical skills that help you draw nearer to God. SN: I will also add that this book is great for an individual, but reading through it with at least one other person-especially on a fast of some kind- can really intensify the experience. In any case, its a great read:)
