I am not one to write reviews by any means but I had to regarding Dream Lab! I had tried two other slew trainings on my daughter. They were similar but also different. What worked for me was the 5, 10, 15 minute intervals and the no touching. Dream Lab had great examples and videos to guide you through. Plus, so many of my questions were answered from the many Help Center. The only thing I wish was that it could be an app or tied into the owlet app somehow. Great program. It only took 5 days!! Now she sleeps through the night and naps a total of 3 hours a day! This mama sure did need it!
I bought this program for our third child, and wish I had known about it sooner! We had tried everything that had worked for our older two children, and just couldn't get the baby into a nap or nighttime sleep routine- we needed something to help! After putting it off (due to sleep regression, teething, and recurrent sicknesses), we finally committed when he was 9 months old, and within a few nights he was sleeping through the night, 7p-7a! With a few simple changes and a schedule to follow, we are all finally getting some sleep. We're a few months in, and although he sometimes wakes up a little earlier (and on occasion in the middle of the night due to teething), I have the program to reaffirm the steps necessary to get him back into a routine. We are thankful for the guidance, reassurance, and peace it has brought!
I have a 4 month (and 4 day old) baby. I have been in touch with the owlet team quite frequently and was patiently waiting for the 4 month threshold to give our household a bit more sleep. It has only been 4!! days and I couldn't be any happier with this product. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
My husband and I are both full time students, so we both need some good sleep every night. After moving my 6 month old to her own room I was feeling so much more tired every morning from having to get up and feed her every couple of hours. I looked around at some different sleep training programs and decided Dream Lab had a lot of the features that were important to me. Literally the first night of starting the program my baby slept almost twice as long as she usually would. About 4 or 5 nights later she was sleeping from 8pm until 7 or 8am (with a dream feed at about 10:30pm). Dream Lab gave me the tools I needed to be able to teach my little girl skills that help her sleep for 11+ hours every night! I recently weaned her from the dream feed and she is still sleeping for 11+ hours. Thank you Dream Lab! I can not recommend this product enough.
First time mama here! And I would use the dream lab again for next baby! Absolutely worth every penny! I started with my son Atlas at 11 months thinking I was to late to try this program. But he got it less than a week! I was so proud of him! Sleeps every night 12 hours and naps are great! Everything is amazing! Thanks to sleep! Thank you! ❤️
I purchased Dream Lab when my daughter was 10 months and really struggling with going to sleep at night. The content is great and one of the things my husband and I liked about Dream Lab is it was easy to follow and not get overwhelmed by the content. As parents we wanted what was best for our daughter without too much crying and this program gave us just that. The experts warn you that the first night is rough, which it is but within 3 nights our daughter was putting herself to sleep in her crib. The Dream Lab is worth every penny!
I know writing a review on day 2 is really overzealous but I have to share my experience so far. I swore when my son was born that I was going to make sure he slept on his own in his bassinet/crib from the beginning. Fast forward 6 months and he hasn't slept a single night in either of those. Every nap and night sleep is initiated with a bottle or walking around. He also developed a habit of comfort feeding and was waking up every 2-3 hours or more every single night. I knew that sleep training was the only solution to finally break these bad habits I had created. Again, I am only on day two. But on day two, my son has already learned to put himself to sleep. Did we both cry for an hour on the first night? Yes. Did he fall asleep in under 5 minutes for every single nap and his bedtime on day 2? Also yes. I'm literally in awe. I know that every situation is different. That I am still likely to run into some hiccups and it probably won't be this smooth every single day. But I know we could not have done it without the help of this program, the step-by-step videos, even the “hang in there mama” video (which I sure did watch the first night when he cried for an hour). I'll be back with an updated review after we've completed the program in its entirety. Fingers crossed for more than 4 hours of sleep at a time, predictable nap schedules and 100% night weaning!
When my 4 month old started to roll onto his stomach at nighttime as a first time mom I got worried and anxious. For 2 nights straight I wasn't able to close my eyes for not even 2 seconds ALL NIGHT LONG just staring at the baby monitor and making sure he was okay and breathing. First night using the owlet and as soon as baby boy went to dreamland I was out too! I knew that if something happen the base would let me know. (Even if it was a false alarm, it was better then nothing!) We also LOVE to use the heart rate tracker to make sure baby is completely asleep (his heart rate usually go around 100-85 when he is sleeping) before putting him in his crib. So that helps a lot too :) The only downside is that when my baby is fussing and moving a lot he can get the sock off his foot very easily so we have to go and readjust a few times (and for the baby it can be a little upsetting)
I am extremely happy with the product and service provided. However, what I think one thing that will take it to the next level is to incorporate a functionality to print the sleeping schedule for those babies that goes to daycare. If there is a way that the printed template includes the background of the program and why is so important to follow the process. This will make the transition to daycare successful. Therefore it will make this product exceptional. I strongly recommend this producto all moms!
I struggled to sleep train my first born, and til this day (he is now 2) I am regretting not seeking expert help. When I had my second, I was adamant about sleep training from the get go. I own the Owlet sock, so it was natural to go with Dream Lab. I am so happy I did! My baby is now 8 months old and a great sleeper. In times of regression, I've reached out and was helped effectively in a timely manner. the only reason why I don't give the product 5 stars is because there is room for improvement (integration with the Owlet app, milestone adjustments, etc.). All in all, I love this product.
