Love that the velvety lining completely covers the inside unlike most that ends by the ankle. Very nice height to the boots. I am 5 foot 2.5 inches and the top of the boots sits comfortably a few inches below my knees. DreamPairs even included a nice little thank you card in the box. if you order these boots for yourself or someone else don't worry about the package size. the boots are folded over each other and it takes no time at all to straighten them out. Highly recommend these boots.
I ordered these last minute to get me through until I could afford a "better" pair of boots bc the snow was coming early this year. I have a 40 minute walk to work and a 40 minute walk home 5 days a week and just needed something to get me through about a month of walking to and from work. I found these and didn't expect much- but I absolutely love them! They're a bit clunky to walk in, but let me tell you- my legs and feet DO NOT HURT after walking in them and that is such a big deal to me. Walking to and from work in my regular shoes in nice weather make my legs and feet hurt by the time I'm done walking. The boots keep my feet dry and warm, and that's all I was asking for! But they really blew me away with the comfort they offer! The inside is super fluffy all the way down, and if I have to throw them on to go get the mail and don't bother wearing socks, it's like wearing fluffy slippers! Even the toe area is fluffy and soft! I'm so impressed with these, and hoping they last through the entire winter, but if they don't, I will absolutely be ordering another pair just like them. I feel like the zipper is going to be the first to go, so I unlace them, put them on, zip them up, then tighten the laces. But even when the snow is up to my knees, the zipper area keeps my legs dry! I'm jaw dropped. All of my boots in the past let moisture in through the zipper when they get snow on them! Not these. They were so inexpensive I didn't expect them to work so well!
I normally wear a 9.5 I got these in a 10 and they fit perfect foot wise almost too small calf wise to zip but works for me so if you have bigger calves I'd recommend to go up another size. Otherwise I love them and my daughter wears them and she is in an 8.
I love these boots! I just put them on and they are a lil snug but most shoes and boots are when you first get them. I saw a review that said to size up and I recommend that as well. I wear a size 8 Nike shoe and I bought a size 9 in these boots and they fit perfect. If you don't size up I think there would be an issue with the toe area being too narrow and uncomfortable. Also these boots are a nice balance of cute and practical for the snow! I like that I can tie them too be nice and secure and then use the side zipper to take them on and off. And again they look nice too to wear with a nice outfit if needed. So overall I love them and think you would too!
I love the warmth and tall size of this boot. Mid-calf doesn't always help with NY snow storms! I did have to reorder and select one size smaller for the boot to be more snug around the ankle. However, I also bought a mid-calf from same company and that was my actual size.
Absolutely love them a bit heavy but they are winter boots so I expect that I bought an eight even though I am a seven so I can wear extra socks because it is the northeast and hit absolutely love them a bit heavy but they are winter boots so I expect that I bought an eight even though I am a seven so I can wear extra socks because it is the northeast and it is freezing. Traction is very good in the snow skating on ice as long as you don't pick your feet up is wonderful would highly recommend
Definitely a boot made for snow slush and cold. There is no real sole support. Feels very flat when you walk in them, so be cognizant of that if you purchase. I found it ran a little small, probably due to all the warm fuzz inside. I recommend sizing up, especially if wearing with thick socks. Overall, a good boot for the price and how fast delivery was!
I only gave it 4 stars because they run small. I ordered my original size of 7 and it was way too small. The appearance of them is great, love the look! I sent them back and had to reorder a different style and color because they no longer had this one in a size 8 which is what I feel I'd need to make them fit correctly. I guess we will see when the other pair arrives.
I've owned a pair of these boots for a few years, purchased from another retailer, and they've always fit well. I even ordered a pair for my mom because she loved my original ones so much. So I ordered the same size for myself this time, expecting the same fit. However, the front/top portion of the boot—from the toe area to the ankle—starts too soon. Because of this, my foot gets pushed upward when I walk, leaving extra space behind my heel, and the boots scrunch up as I move. I even tried tightening the laces, but it still doesn't keep my foot back in place. This makes me think either this pair is too big or they weren't made correctly. The quality itself seems fine, and I love the look of the boots. I've worn my previous pair for years, which is why I returned as a customer. The only difference between my old pair and this one (besides the color) is that I purchased the tall version this time. I considered exchanging them for a smaller size, but that wouldn't work either—my toes already touch the front of the boot, even though there's still extra room behind my heel. I'd still like to resolve the issue, but I'm not sure whether I should contact the retailer or Walmart to request an exchange or find out what options I have.
As another reviewer noted - cheap and squeaky. They came in a box with the boot tops folded down. I noticed the rubber was the really cheap, hard kind - the kind that slips easily and doesn't grip at all. When I tried them on, it was like the back end of the boot was pushing my toes towards the end leaving no toe room. When I walked, they squeaked with every step! How annoying! I can't imagine walking in public - how embarrassing! They look nice from a distance but that is it. I have no idea how they have so many positive reviews. Maybe others have never had good quality boots before? I bought them because of the positive reviews but immediately returned them and ordered some much better ones!
