Dreambaby L800A Ezy-Check Safety Latch, White, Plastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 kids, a toddler & an infant. Trying to keep them from reaching unsafe stuff is tough & also keeping them away from kitchen. I have put these latches on the fridge door & kitchen cabinet & also used it to hold the corner shelf in place. My baby has started crawling & he drags stuff while moving. This latch has kept that shelf intact. These latches are strong & adhesive is really good & latches very well. I myself cannot unlatch them with one hand, need to use both hands to unlock. Sometimes that seems like extra effort, but that's built like that so that kids won't be able to open them. My toddler is very smart in unlocking & unscrewing stuff, but he hasn't been able to open these. Overall love these products, they work as expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like about the product is that it can be used on gloss & laminate furniture, refrigerators & freezers, toilets, glass & mirror, varnished wood cabinet timbers and metal cabinets and many other uses. All I have to do is thoroughly clean and dry surface and apply but making sure there is no wax, oils and polish have been removed.. What's great is the fact that there are no tools or screws needed to apply the multi-use latches. With the strap and securing catch , just peel off the backing and then you place them firmly in place. It is best to le it "set" for at least 48 hrs.for maximum adhesion. They are so easy to apply and they give you peace of mind for your little toddlers. I am sold on this product. Thanks.

My sons favorite book to read was I'll love you forever, & since he's decided to take it quite literally (like flushing things down the toilet), he better live up to it later, haha. But I had these in a drawer & kept forgetting to put them on the toilets around my house, until he flushed his sisters scarf. These little latches have put a stop to that behavior. Love them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Dreambaby EZY-Check Multi-Use Latch - 3 Pack to try. The latch works good. I was able to attach it with no problem and it stays in place just fine. It's easy to latch and unlatch. Definitely hard for toddlers to unlatch. I wasn't aware of this product before, but I'm glad I was able to try it. I'd buy it again and I'd recommend this to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy and simple to install. The latches have very adhesive backing so I was able to stick them to almost any surface. The best thing is that they are easy for adults to operate yet impossible for the little ones to open. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for affordable, easy to use childproof latches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 4 kids so I have used plenty of latching devices over the years to keep the kids out of stuff and these by far take the cake...or actually prevent taking the cake haha. I placed a latch on my fridge and another on the freezer in my kitchen. It works great! In the past other clips have gotten weak and usually the adhesive fails and the latch falls off, not this one. The adhesive is strong, the lock is strong and even I have problems unlocking it sometimes haha it almost works too good. I do love that you can tell if a lock has been tampered with like if someone tried to open whatever you were keeping closed by popping up and showing the red locked sticker in the window . Works great I highly recommend not only for new parents but for anyone needing to keep kids out of anything .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am always on the hunt for safety locks that actually work. My kids are little Houdinis who can figure out most safety items and it's frustrating to spend a ton of money on something that gets figured out within a day or 2 of installation. When I received these latches I was skeptical at first, but after a week of having them on I'm quite pleased with the product. My 4 year old figured out how it works within the first 3 days, but he has a hard time opening it anyway and he isn't too dangerous anymore so I don't worry about him opening cabinets. My almost 2 year old is my main concern since she is always trying to get into cabinets and doors that she shouldn't and so far these have worked to keep her out. Definitely a winner in my book!

I have these latches on my tv cabinet so that my son cannot get the movies underneath. We had a couple problems with the sticky falling off but realized it was related to not perfectly following installation instructions. Now that we followed those directions they have worked perfectly.
