Dreambaby Liberty Extra Wide Auto Close Security Gate w/ Stay Open Feature

It's a gate. It does its job. It was relatively easy to install, the hardest part was my plaster walls. The only thing I'll note, and honestly don't know why I thought this, it is not a no-drill option. You do have to screw the little cups into the wall to secure the gate, otherwise a kid or pet could just push it right out. Other than that, great item.

Originally purchased two of the Dreambaby Chelsea gates, but was so annoyed that I couldn't leave the gate open at times. Exchanged them for the Liberty & I am so pleased. Strong & sturdy and useful stay-open feature. It also fits our wide 42" openings perfectly. Love this gate!

I wanted a gate that was easy to open, would stay open on its own, and my pets wouldn't jailbreak. This was the perfect choice and was also easy to install. Note that the dogs are smaller, only 20 lbs, but it has been the perfect solution for my situation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to fit at the top of our rustic, log staircase. It is the perfect width and the adjustment knobs on either side allow us to fit this irregularly shaped opening. The cups give a huge piece of mind. Customer service was helpful finding a piece that would fit properly.

I love this gate for my dogs. It automatically closes behind you OR you can osuh it a little further to look it in place. Assembly was fast and easy. Done in 5 minutes. I have a 39 inch opening and it worked fine. Also have the extensions that came with it.

Very easy to install. Works great. I especially like that the gate swings open in both directions.

It definitely takes at least two people to install this gate. Not a one person job! Directions are difficult to follow. Once installed, worked well. Just installed it this week; fingers crossed!

This was by far the easiest to install gate I've ever used. Just make sure you are careful with the adhesive pads that come with it. I had to reposition one and found that it took off some of the paint on the wall. Otherwise it is easy to use and an affordable option!

I bought this gate in silver approximately 1 year ago and was so pleased with it that I bought a white version after moving homes. Unfortunately the quality of this white gate is significantly worse. The lock mechanism seems to be a much cheaper plastic and the gate door is significantly lighter, which makes the auto-close and locking mechanism not work as well as my previous gate. I decided to still keep and use this new gate, but I don't foresee it lasting or working nearly as long as I expect my silver one too. (This gate is used to keep my toddler from going up a flight of stairs)
