DREAMBABY RETRACTABLE WHITE GATE

I bought 2 retractable gates for my preschool as a way to divide my space (we had to divide classrooms to accommodate the COVID licensing regulations of smaller group sizes). The gates are a great way to fulfill the licensing regulations but are removable for when the regulations revert back. The gates are easy to operate and look great!

We bought this baby gate about a month ago for my first grandson. He's learning stairs and this gate helps keep him safe. Sturdy and quality materials. I Definitely recommend this product.

This is a huge improvement over the baby gate we were using to keep our dogs from going down to the basement. The instructions looked a bit intimidating at first, but turned out to be fairly easy to follow.

I use this at the bottom of my staircase and it works great. Even though this gate is for child use, I use it for my dog.

this gate is loud when you are opening the gate and securing it. not helpful when you hope to keep your children sleeping in the room next to the stairs.

If you need to open and close this gate frequently spend the extra money on a retract-a-gate. This product is cheaply made and extremely difficult to operate even with two hands. It's impossible to open or close while holding a baby. It is also not easily installed when you have molding on both sides of the gate. If you need a gate that will remain shut most of the time it will work ok but if you need to open and close it repeatedly like I do (I'm a daycare provider) save your money and time.

Installing it was fine and yes it does what it says but there is one major flaw. Since it is a fabric the bottom can be easily lifted and whatever you are trying to keep back can get through. My dog went right under it, a child could easily lift it and go under it. Yes I had it installed all the way to the floor. Plus when it retracts it makes an annoying clicking sound. I know you can hold the button not to hear the sound but not very practical to hold the button and release the gate. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Got this gate as it seemed like a good retractable, yet stationary option. Puppy was able to go right under the gate, even with as low to the ground as it sits. The release knob is not ideal for all, elderly people or certain kids might have a hard time using the retractable release knob as intended. For this particular gate I would say it's overly priced for its class.

Horrible how do you send someone a used retractable gate during what the world is going thru and it cost 90.00 and you gave me a used gate. And would t refund me.

I am highly disappointed with this product! We used this at the bottom of the stairs as an alternative to unsightly gates. I like the fact that we can retract it when we have people over - it looks clean. However, we haven't had this thing for a month and it's already broken. When we roll it out, it's getting stuck so we haven't been able to use it. We didn't even use this thing every day so I can definitely say we never abused it or used it excessively. For the amount we paid, this is not the result I expected.
