Dremel 200-1/15 Two Speed Rotary Tool Kit

This Dremel will work for what I need it for. But I should have spent a bit more and bought the Dremel 300. But I am happy to have it! It was very inexpensive so I am satisfied.

I've had this item for 2 weeks. Don't be deceived by the look of the tool. My first thought was, "Geez, it might be too heavy and cumbersome for daily use." It's not. It is so easy to use. The attachments are very handy and in their own storage container. I also took advantage of the warranty plan. If anything happens to the rotary I will purchase another of the same. Very pleased customer.

I purchased this tool about a month ago and it helped me complete a couple of projects around my house that would have taken a couple of weeks to complete. It's great and fast. Thanks

I am r enjoying this dremel. It's got 2 different speeds and it's actually very quiet when running full blast. There's tons of accessories and just so many uses for it. I registered it on the manufacturer's website and it comes with a nice little warranty on any internal parts breaking or malfunctioning. All in all, it's a great buy for the price. Works like a champ.

This corded one is better then the battery operated one in my opinion. My husband has wanted one for awhile ama he is now marking everything he can find. lol

Great for my crafting projects. Better than the battery one I used to have because you can dremel on as long as you want, but you really need a mask and safety glasses.

I bought a Dremel 200 a couple of months ago to replace a cheaper unit I purchased three months earlier. The cheaper one did a good job but one day just didn't work anymore. The Dremel 200 has been everything I wanted it to be and more. I have several hobbies and the 200 has been used successfully for most of them. Of course, it didn't do a thing for my stamp collection but I don't see how it could. I have several Dremel accessories such as the Work Station, Detailer's Grip, Flex Shaft, Circular Saw and a few others. All of them work perfectly as do the many Dremel accessories I have used, including dozens not made by Dremel but from other companies (mostly in China). The Dremel 200 seems to be without limit with the number of applications it will do. I recommend the Dremel 200 to anyone needing a rotary tool or any other electric shop tool. It seems to do it all.

I really like using this machine. It is small, portable, and reliable. I started off with a battery powered model but charging batteries wasn't for me. I much prefer the power and longevity of a corded model. This is the perfect way to get into to world of dremels without spending a fortune!

I have used Dremel rotary products for many years and I have to say I am disappointed with this one. The low speed has very little torque and stalls easily and the high speed is a bit fast for delicate work. If you plan to use a flex attachment the low speed torque is even worse and the high (33,000 RPM) on the high speed will heat up your flex shaft even with minimal bending of the cable on a frequently cleaned and dry lubed cable. Consider another model with more than 2 speeds. On the plus side Dremel has added the ability to consumer replace motor brushes and extend service life of the tool, just don't let the brushes get too short before replacement. A tool for this is also provided and be sure to follow the break in procedure.
