Dremel 4000-3/34 34 Piece Dremel 4000 High Performance Rotary Tool Kit

I bought this from Lowe's when they had a sale. My first use was to do some cutting on a pistol holster to modify it to fit one of my guns. The Dremel and I completed the task very well. As I was using the Dremel, I was amazed that is was so easy and did the job so well. I also sanded some of the rough edges and it performed perfectly. Honestly, I don't know how I got along without the Dremel! Excellent Product.

Bought this and a work station to help with my model making. Found it to be very useful with general and precision work. Cannot understand why I went so long without one.

Previously bought the 4200 but quickly found out that the 4000 is much better as far as versatility and can be adapted to all existing attachments . Not so with the 4200.

I've got 4 Dremel rotary tools, and the other 3 are 20+years old....the new one is great...and I'm hopeful to get 20 years out of it too.....used, and abused, these Dremels can take a beating, and come back for more.

dremel customer service contacted me and promptly sent me a replacement tool free of charge I was able to finish my job with no problems ...ty dremel you have restored my faith in the name dremel

I've owned and used the Dremel 4000 for over a year now. It is the most powerful Dremel that I've ever used or owned. I use it at work and have another at home. I have absolutely no qualms about recommending to anyone for use at home or work.

Counter clock wise rotation would give this 5 stars, im right handed so debris just hits me in the face..but that is my one complaint, from pumpkins to steel to concrete there isnt a job my dremel 4000 has failed me at

This is the 2nd dremel rotary Ive owned in the last 2 years. Something always goes wrong with th variable speed controller until it doesnt work at all. maybe good for wood and plastics but not steel or aluminum seems to overheat the the variable speed controller

bought it a year ago then needed to cut some aluminum tubing thin wall prob 3/8 in diameter after 15 min of use it quit working so its not very durable at all when I turn it on it runs for 30 sec then quits checked brushes look brand new

Purchased this ten years ago to replace an older model that had stopped working. Subsequently replaced the brushes in the old tool and continued to use it. I used the 4000 tool for about the fifth time today, it started to feel hot so I let it run with no load to allow it to cool before turning it off then it failed to restart. Very poor quality.
