Dremel A576 Rotary Tool Sanding/Grinding Guide Attachment

Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review. I find the Dremel sanding and gringing guide to be very helpful in controling the use of the Dremel rotary tool. As i get older it is harder to steady my hands. The guide helps position the tool more carefully to not over sand the wood and plastice parts of my model trains. I recommend it to all model enthusiasits.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sometimes use this for grinding a new edge on a knife. The bevel keeps the knife edge at the perfect angle. So far, I haven't really found other uses for it, but it's another great tool to keep in the box for that odd job when you need it.

This tool was super easy to install on my 200. It also eliminated the need to 'keep a steady hand' when sanding. Worked great for those tough to reach areas that needed sanding as well. The dremel grinding is a neat accessory to have on hand. It works great to put a new edge on many common tools used. I find it hand to put a quick sharpen on lawnmower blades when they dont need a lot of grinding. I use it a lot to put a quick edge on a scraper when refinishing a item and excellent to keep your chisels nice and sharp. It has a built in angle guide to help put the perfect bevel on. Dremel is always coming out with accessories to make our work easier, for the most part the A576 attachment is another well designed product that worked well for me in getting a consistent line in sanding the edge of my wood project. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is the numbers on the depth guide are very small and difficult to read. Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review.

I tested using the guide to stabilize my Dremel 4000 when I was sanding a mirror frame I was building, it works better than trying to sand things manually.
