[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] MM12V-S1 Blueprint 12V Cordless Oscillating Multi-Tool is a powerhouse. Easy to use. Gets into tight areas with the benefit of being cordless. It helped me with my vinal fence. I needed to replace a plank that had been damaged during a storm. it cut away the old glue allowing me to put a new plank in place. Using a cordless Oscillating multi-tool was way more comfortable than using a corded tool. The MM12V-S1 Blueprint 12V Oscillating Multi-Tool is a graet addition to my on going tool collection. Dremel does it again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm impressed with the Dremel Blueprint multi-tool. I've used several different version, both battery and electric, and find the Dremel to be a nice in-between product. It's a 12V, so I wasn't expecting too much, however, it did perform as well as the others. I'm a fan of the Application selector, I can set if for the job I'm working on, and not worry about messing up. The lock-on button definitely saves the hand for those long jobs. The audible click for locking in the accessories is a nice touch, eliminates the fear that I didn't put it on correctly. I thought the length would be a problem, but it helps to stabilize the tool when using. For those that haven't tried multi-tools, they can skate easily on the material, the ability to hold with two hands is nice.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a multi tool for a long time, finally I pulled the trigger and bought one. I chose Dremel because I trust the brand and never had a Dremel product fail me. It is exactly what I needed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, I noticed that the Vue was heavy, but it actually is an advantage when cutting wood. Connecting a blade was extremely easy and toolless, love this feature. I will give anther review on the tool after completing my latest project in finishing a laminated Recurve bow.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Battery-operated tool. this think came in very handy while i was redoing some doors at my house. it made it very easy to change from sanding the doors to scraping paint from the door jamb. with the top nob it is easy to change out the different tool heads. Having it battery operated made it a lot easier to change angles and move around the door without having to worry about the wire.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon first viewing the tool, it looked bulky and looked like it would feel awkward, but upon installing the battery and using the tool to be able to write the review I was very surprised as to how well it felt in my hand. Tool was easy to control when trying to cut a precise line on a door jam. Tool was easy to handle when sanding as well. Definitely better than other brands I’ve used in the past.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son's and I had three projects we had to do this weekend. I was making a Jiu-Jitsu belt holder My oldest son had to do a guitar for his science class and my little one had to do a trap for a leprechaun. Jiu-Jitsu belt holder was mainly made out of wood. It cut wood that was 2"-1/2" like it was butter. The sanding was easy to use even my 7-year-old was able to use it. Guitar. Guitar wasn't made out of wood and cardboard box I don't think his two was made to cook over the box but hey it worked. Cutting blade made the cuts where the guitar strings go through really nice and smooth on the wood pieces that the fishing string did not rip even though we pulled it left and right to see it did a rough cut. Happy to say it did not. Still need to do some stuff on the guitar. Leprechaun trap was a simple box half wood half carport. It was a pitfall that my son wanted to do as the leprechaun trap. Sad to say forgot to take a picture of it. This tool so smooth on cutting and sanding that my 7-year-old son can use. What I tried it out on (works great) Wood 2"-1/2. 2" wood screws 3/4 nail Cardboard Copper. (Next to be test it on) to be continue Tile and laminate 10 & 9 grade electrical wire sheet metal.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MMV12V-S1 Blueprint Oscillating Tool is great! Easy to use and easy to install accessories without the need to use an Allen wrench or screwdriver. It is lightweight, even though Dremel recommends using both hands when cutting or sanding. It came with a cutting blade, sanding attachment with sandpaper, scraping blade, and a grout blade. I think a flat saw blade would have been a better choice than the grout blade. I doubt the grout blade will get much use. The LED light is absolutely awesome! No need to try to hold the tool and a flashlight to see in those dark or shadowy places. As with any other power tool, it is important to read ALL of the operating instructions before use. This is a powerful tool...be careful when using!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is reay great. I have the older mx40 and this much easier to change blades and ligher. I did notice some older dremmel blades don't fit. But new blades fit well. I was able to cut and sand my project with one charge. Thr charge time was quick. It would help if the charger had an indicator on what charged looks like and to check battery status you need to turn on the tool. Having the trigger look is great to keep from turning it in while setting the blade and speed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light enough that even with arthritis I can handle the multi tool. I watched the video on use, and as recommended, tried it out on a scrap to get used to how the tool handles. Read the instructions, they are pretty easy to follow. Battery charged quickly and was easy to snap into place. I've only used it to sand so far, but it appears to sand evenly, no squiggles left behind. The tool has a medium loud buzz, I would suggest using hearing protection. It's not near as loud as my palm sander though. The speed of the tool is controlled by how hard one presses on the "on" button. I would rather have had a dial to control the speed. That took some getting the hang of since it's easiest to just hold the button in all the way. Switching out attachments is easy. As I use the tool, if possible, I'lll add to this review, but so far, it's a nice addition to my workbench...
