Dremel Electric Rotary Tool Workstation Drill Press

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I make bandsaw boxes with lids that lift open. I use this workstation to predrill the pivot pin holes for the lid prior to cutting the ends off. This gives me precisely aligned holes for the lid to function properly. I love the ease at which it set up to different height and even angles. Great addition to my workshop.

I model tall ships and find so many uses for this too. Shaping small wood fixtures is made easy. I would highly recommend modelers to check this tool out. Modeling made much easier and more accurate. I have an older model than the one shown.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The work station 220-01 has been part of my Dremel Tool collection for several years. It is easy to setup by just securely inserting a Dremel rotary tool "Dremel 4000" into its assigned location. You can adjust this tool to any angle and it it easily transportable to most locations for it to be near your work area. I have used this Dremel tool to drill holes in plastic, wood, aluminum, and copper pipes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Drill Press station is a must have for precision holes. Before, I got this, my Dremel would "jump" and wobble, causing my holes to get larger. Once I had gotten this, I was able to drill, perfectly straight holes in my wood and silver projects.

I bought this workstation a few weeks ago and I basically haven't stopped using it since I got it. I finished multiple projects in no time. It's helping my business out so much. I should've invested in this thing ages ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love most everything Dremel makes because my shop is small and most of the work I do is on a small scale, mostly related to jewelry making and I fabricate all my own equipment, tools to save money. For the most part Dremel products fit in perfectly. However, I don't think this particular product is going to have a very long shelf life. It's a little wonky.

I have been a huge fan of Dremel, but I really have mixed feelings about the Workstation 220. It is specified that it can be used with a Rotary tool 4200. The cutouts for controls in the holding cup are not diametrically opposite (they are 90 deg apart) and hence once the tool is in position, I can only access one side of the quick change, thus making it useless. Of course I can cut out an access hole but I do not expect to make these kind of modifications when it can be helped. My rating is based on it use with Dremel 4200. If I was using a tool with a regular collet, I would had rated it higher.

Drill bit is not positioned in the center of the table. Please you refer to the attached photo. What kind of other products also have the same problem? I am waiting for answer of dremel.

I purchased the drill press and the box stated that it is compatible with my Dremel. However, while looking at the manual during setup, I notice it listed all the compatible models and mine was not included on there (even though the outside of the box listed mine as being compatible). It does not fit into the holder correctly, so I cannot use it.
