These are an excellent value. They are not expensive and last a long time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my cut off several months and it is a fantastic tool. It have a lot of uses around my workshop.
I got my new Dremel 4000 for a specific project and then got a 5 pack of these EZ 1 1/2" cutoff wheels. I am still cutting with the one that came with my kit. The wheels hold up for a very long time. I am amazed.
I bought this item to cut a steel lamp post below ground level. The steel was so thick that it took one and a half packages of the cutting wheels, but they got the job done. The EZ Lock system made changing wheels quick and certainly helped with the project. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i first used these cutting wheels 3 bweeks ago. The instructions on the user manual for cutting nspeed is excellent, the ease and quality of the cut is exceptional and the cutting wheel lasts much longer than i expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the cut off wheels on many materials including plastic, wood, metal, and aluminum, and find them to be very accurate and manageable, something you need while working with a cutting tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've bought these Wheels several times over the years. They are precise and quuite durable. I like the thinness because it allows me to cut off certain items a little at a time and very accurately.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this blade for some repetitive cuts that needed to be made for a craft project my wife was working on. I was surprised by the high volume of cuts I was able to make with just one blade.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use my Dremel tool with this EZ409 cutoff wheel, especially for cutting and trimming small aluminum and steel pieces or woodworking. Very handy, as long as I am patient. (I do wish they were a bit more durable, though.)
Caveat: This may not be the exact wheel I used - it was the closest I could find. Mine came from a 160 piece EZ lock kit and says 'PLASTIC" rather than "THIN CUT." In any case, I believe the EZ lock design is the issue. I tried cutting some Lexan, the blade separated: the metal ring which attached to the locking mechanism separated from the blade cutting material. Given the high rotational speed and the size of these tabs, this doesn't seem that surprising.
