It's size and available attachments and versatile positioning makes it great for straight cuts on thinner material and detailing tight corners. I find the scrapers are very handy as well. Ours still works as good as the day we bought it. Dremel durable, Dremel dependable.

This tool did it all and ended up finding a dozen more uses afterwards.

No issues at all. Occasionally have to change the blade when it gets dull, but changing is easy. My hands get a little numb from using it all day, but that is to be expected. Its light, sturdy and easy to maneuver. Great tool!

The triangle-shaped sanding pads are fantastic and time-saving in corners. The cutting implements helped me cut a small corner out of a basement door to let important cables pass through. I am a woman with smaller hands and I found the tool easy and comfortable to hold and use. I found it very useful for cutting things close to the ground (moldings, etc.) and I loved it for sanding. It gets into corners easily and doesn't require a lot of added pressure to do a good job sanding. I would highly recommend this product as it comes with a good variety of accessories and is very versatile. Every household should have one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tool to cut into a wood panel wall without exactly knowing where the electrical lines were inside the wall. This tool made the cut safe because I could control and feel the resistance on the blade change as I got closer to breaking through to the inside of the wall. If I would have used my circular saw I could have easily cut wire or PVC pipe and not known it until either seeing water or my wife telling me some lights just turned off in another room! The oscillating nature of the saw and the small blade made it perfect. It is extremely powerful also. This is no bobo saw for sure.
