DREMEL US510-01 3.5 In. Metal Cutting Wheel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the corded Ultra Saw for a few years now, all the disks are super effective. I've gone around my property working on many crazy projects, needing to cut metal bars here and there, and while some metals and thicknesses take more patience than others, these disks have gotten the job done. I would not try these on forged steel, regardless of the thickness or thinness (i.e. gate hinges). But otherwise, great tool, great disks! They do wear down at a fair and very acceptable rate equal to the demand placed on them. Best you can expect from such a hard-working piece that keeps on giving.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cut off wheels are fantastic. I was alittle worried about the cordless product being able to handle the pressure of these wheels when cutting. Nothing to it. Both are great items. The wheels are great to have around fir a handi man.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to recently use this to cut some PVC pipe to make a conduit, therefore, I had to cut out a section along the entire length of the pipe (about a 4 foot section). This wheel made the task a breeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had just purchased a house and I needed a good means of sawing a hardened key safe off the front door so I could use my own key safe. I tried every tool I had but could not open it. The Dremel cutoff disc is the only thing that would touch the hardened key safe for its removal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dremel made my life easy for so many around the home projects. One of these Dremel's is the Ultra Saw bought it few months ago. It support multiple of saw bladed for different applications and materials; wood, metals, tiles and ceramics. This Dremel US510-01 blade of abrasive material is for high performance metal cutting applications only. It cuts ferrous (e.g., steel) and nonferrous (e.g., brass) materials. For better performance I recommend to go slowly and let the blade do the cutting and it lasts a long time. I had to use it outdoors while wearing a mask because of producing of few sparks when cutting metals due to the high temperature and friction that occur when the metal is being cut. A perfect blade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have found that these wheels cut quickly and cleanly, and they last for a long time. I am also impressed with how safe these wheels are to use. They have never shattered or broken on me, even when cutting through tough materials.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use dremel cut off wheel to cut pad locks on lockers in a facility for elderly senior citizens. I also use a battery dremel to cut small u bolts in the garden that carry my water supply to the far end. 7' high.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this wheel for several metal-cutting projects, including pipes. The biggest project I used it for was cutting several sheets of corrugated steel into panels for four 4x12 raised garden beds. The wheel was large enough to easily ride across the crests and troughs of the corrugations and cut cleanly. The Ultra-Saw was the perfect size for the job, very manageable, in addition to having a large enough wheel to get the job done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The metal Cut-Off works fine. However the Wood Blade (SM500) `that came with the kit is not so great. How about carbide teeth on the wood blade?? I know they would be small teeth, but I think it would make more sense than the “Grinding Wheel” approach to the wood blade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I WAS GIVEN A DREMEL ROTARY 4300 TOOL FOR CHRISTMAS LAST YEAR AFTER MY ORIGINAL ROTARY TOOL WAS DAMAGED. I LOVE HOW EASY ALL OF THE ATTACHMENTS AND ACCESSORIES CONNECT TO THE TOOL AND I PICK UP NEW BITS, CUT-OFF WHEELS, ETC. EVERY CHANCE I GET. IT JUST IS SO MUCH EASIER AND TAKES LESS TIME TO PULL OUT MY DREMEL DEDICATED TOOL BOX, GRABBING MY TOOL AND WHATEVER I NEED TO USE FOR VARIOUS REPAIRS, PROJECTS, HONEY-DO JOBS, ETC. I HARDLY EVER PULL OUT MY OTHER REGULAR TOOLS TO WORK WITH AND I GENERALLY WILL ALWAYS TRY TO USE MY DREMEL TOOLS FIRST BECAUSE THEY RARELY LET ME DOWN AND THESE CUT OFF WHEELS ARE NO DIFFERENT!
