Neat design
Just what I was looking for to keep light elevated

Not a good fit on my rimmed tank. Still able to get it to work by putting the brackets on with screws on the inside of my tank.

Best with rimless tanks
Would be great for a rimless tank but I have a tank with a rim and a glass top, so it just rests on top. It also gets in the way when trying to open the lid to feed the fish. I have to hold the light to put the lid all the way flat to be able to do work on the tank if I want it open for a while.

Don't use for tanks with rims
Best if used on rimless tanks. It fit's tanks with rims but messes up the glass lid. Also, a hassle to open and leave lid open when working on aquarium. The grooves are not quite right for the 10-gal light I'm using for this set up and sits funny in the holder but still works.
