Most of the peppers were very fresh. The smell of the heat hit me when I first opened them. They hydrate very nicely for my enchilada sauce. My only complaint is there were additional stems without the peppers. Quite a few. But it wouldn't stop me from buying them again.

Great Product
They taste exactly as expected in my recipes. You do need to know how to work with dried peppers, but that is easy to learn and do.

Lasts long
Compares pretty well to Charmin ultra strong. It does tear a little bit more in the center where it shouldn't.
