Dritz Large Sewing Basket, Black Sewing Notions

I love this basket! It's the perfect size for all of my sewing notions. It's sturdy and I love the pattern!

This is a charming sewing basket, has that county style. It does have a deep bucket and holds my Featherlight zipper attachment in the box, red tomato pin cushion, pinking shears, scrape fabric, plus a few extra sewing products without touching the lift out tray.

I am so delighted with this sewing basket! Its nice and roomy and has a nice tray in it also.

Dritz XL Oval Sewing Basket Paris Postcard Actual Measurements (excluding handle) 13 3/4" long (across bottom) (excluding handle) 10" wide (across bottom) 6" high inside open 6 1/4" high outside open 7 1/2" high closed -Top is well padded fabric -Sides are padded fabric -bottom is lined with beige laminate type surface -Bottom has 4 little feet not included in height measurements I'm not crazy about the handle, it mimics a rope twine and I think it's cheap looking, and this sewing basket was not cheap. However, the handle does match the other trim on the basket. I bought this because I like the French Paris travel design motif and I wanted a larger size sewing basket, so this fit the bill. I am glad I bought it.

Received the sewing basket earlier than expected. Very nice basket. Looks even better than picture. I haven't filled it up yet but it seems sturdy. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the trim around the base isn't attached well in some places but that might be due to the shape. I just worry it could get caught on something and be pulled off. Only time will tell. Tray was large enough for my pinking shears.
