I have old, gnarled knuckles, and any hand work costs me. When I choose to do needlework, I would prefer a thimble somewhat larger, with a better guard (or don't advertise it). Only recently have I become, again, capable of pursuing practices I revered. I have done 2 natural dye baths using Japanese Shibori techniques, and am planning 2 more: returns to brown onion skin %26 then black bean. So equipment that helps me avoid accidentally hurting myself because of cataracts, or unsteady hands, is what I *try* to find. Fail.

I may not be accurate about this but it said xl and I still can only get it on my pinky. I have large hands tho. I got it for sewing leather then learned that many do not use a thimble at all for that because the pre punch the holes
