Drive Medical Cruiser III Adjustable Lightweight Steel Frame Wheelchair

I ordered this wheel chair for my 93 year-old mother. It is her second Drive Cruiser III chair. She used the first one for about 5 years and was well pleased. I ordered from Wal-Mart so I could easily return it if there were any problems or issues. There were none. I took about a week for the chair to arrive. I somehow had expected it in two days.

I purchased this chair for my wife based on the quality and reputation of the Drive brand. So far, she loves it. No assembly is needed for this chair as it come out of the box complete...you only have to unfold it and take the packing material off. The chair only weighs 36 pounds, so it is lighter than most yet still very sturdy. There are two handle straps on each side of the seat that make folding it a breeze. It does not come with anti-tipper bars, but I ordered those separately for extra safety. You just take of the frame caps behind the chair and insert the pins in the pre-drilled holes and the anti-tippers go right in. The foldable arms and adjustable seat length are features we have not used yet, but it is nice to know they are there if needed. I don't see how you can go wrong with this chair and highly recommend it.

Bought this for my mom. My sister and I were looking for a lightweight wheelchair that is easy to get in car. This one works for that. Learned to lock the wheels when loading and it's easier to handle. It seems to be comfortable and very easy to push and manipulate in close areas. Very pleased with our purchase.

This purchase was everything it claimed to be. Lightweight enough for my wife to load in and out of the car without difficulty. Durable and easy to use.

This is my first wheelchair and I happy with the choice. It comes assembled and arrived in perfect condition. It is relatively light weight and folds easily. For a basic chair, it pushes easily. I do wish it had stabilizers but those can be purchased easily. Overall, good chair.

Got it for our daughter for temporary use while her foot heals. Would buy the seat pad if she needed to use it longer. Folds and unfolds easily. Good value for the money.

Seems to be a very good wheelchair. Can't say how long it will last, but, initial observation is it is sturdy and good quality. Delivered earlier than promised in a box and no assembly required other than foot attachments.

I like the weight of the chair. I wish the back of the chair was higher. The original height of the chair was too high and the lower level is a bit to low. Customers should measure both areas before purchasing. I'm using the chair in the house only and my old Breezx outside.
