ready to go right out of the box. definitely light enough to put in and out of the car often. larger back wheels a big plus compared to others we have used. brake locks right at the handle supper easy to engage and disengage.

. The chair is exactly as described. I am a 67 year old woman who is 5 feet tall and weighs around 130 pounds. I bought this wheelchair for my 85 year old aunt. The chair is comfortable and easy to operate. It is easy to open and close. I can lift the chair and place it in the trunk of my car without any trouble. I believe that the average person (strength wise)will have no problem with the storing of this chair.

I was using a chair with small wheels on the back an front the drive medical expedition has small ones on the front and larger wheels on the back and this made chair feel more stable and strong Imreally grateful I found it on jet.com [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Mom's 'everyday' chair was heavy and hard to handle when she wanted to go out and about with friends. Dad had trouble putting the old model in the car also. This new light weight chair is easier for everyone to lift in and out of the car. Now Mom is on the move! The larger rear tires seem to help when she is not on a basic hard floor. I compared the Walmart price to everywhere I could find online and it was great with free shipping. The chair arrived at her door earlier than expected and she was as happy as if it was a new Rolls Royce. BTW Mom says the blue is not as bright as it shows online (a good thing).

The chairs is as ordered and fine in that fashion. I didn't know enough about what I needed at the time of ordering. I would have liked it to have arms that could be pushed up or down out of the way so you could depart the chair from the side like my wheelchair, as well as locked down of course. Also brakes that “the occupant” can set and take off, again like my wheelchair. I don't know if there are transport chairs or chairs that are more narrow than regular wheelchairs with these options but there certainly needs to be. Would be a popular item as they would go thru smaller bathroom doorways and enable occupants to maneuver in different ways. Manufacturers please consider!

We purchased this chair for my wife who had knee replacement surgery and is having a slow recovery. She is able to walk shorter distances but tires easily and cannot sustain longer distances. This transport chair can easily be put in our car trunk, is easily moved around, and it gives her a break from longer walking and that allows her to get more done. For the price, I think it is doing just fine. Yes it is lightweight but it is sturdy enough for what we need and we have used it even when we traveled.

Very easy to handle. I'm 72 taking care of my 75 y.o.sister. The chair is easy to lift and fold however the brakes weren't adjusted at all and I can't seem to figure out how to adjust them properly. The weight limit is good but the chair does not take into consideration that a person 250 lbs or more sits wider than the chair can handle the chair should of been wider to accommodate the person weighting over 250 lbs …other than that we liked the chair I'm returning it because of that issue ..it says 19 inches across the chair seat but my other transport chair was wider that this on but it was 11 years old and needed replacement

This chair seemed to be well made but the tube areas to handle developed a crack and broke on one side. It seems to be a design flaw that leaves the chair unusable. We have used it a few times over just 2 months and it is no longer safe to use.

My husband is very tall he was sitting in it first day we used it he reached over to grab something the chair fell backwards he fell to floor and handles broke off took it back that day. luckily he was not injured just some bruises. But had to call for help to get him up.
