This bath grab bar works well if one is a renter and can't put in permanent grab bars for the bath. I had a broken femur and was quite scared of trying to shower, but this bar gave me more security and confidence. Easy to install, even for the clueless, like myself. Just make sure to measure your tub side, first. Good price and fast shipping too.

Great Product
Drive Medical is a very good and reputable company for medical products. This product works very well and helps me out tremendously for getting out of the bath tub. It's great that you can set it anywhere along the bath tub and remove it when not in use. It is heavy but that's necessary to support a persons weight. It's very strong metal-very hard to bend. The handle to tighten is easy on the hand, but the handle must be turned tightly for the clasps to take a firm grip. This item has a heavy coat of paint to prevent rusting which is a nice feature. I highly recommend this brand and product.

Exactly what I needed
I bought this to help me get in and out of a soaker tub following a severe ankle injury. It arrived promptly, was very easy to install on the tub, is very sturdy and is a good height. It is giving me exactly the assistance I need to get in and out of the tub for my showers. Very pleased.

Measure your tub
This is a very nice piece of equipment. Why the three stars? We have a modern 2" wide tub and and this only goes down to 3". Sorry to have to return it. Actually they told us to keep it!
