Drive Medical SSP220DDA-SF Silver Sport 2 Wheelchair with 20 Inch Wide Seat

I bought this wheelchair for my mother and she absolutely LOVES it!! I replaced her old wheelchair which was a Medline brand as the wheels on her old one would not turn good and the seat on this one is leather-not the cheap canvas like the other one!!! Absolutely the best wheelchair for your money hands down!! Highly recommend!! A .

I did ALOT of research before buying a replacement for the chair the wife came home from rehab with. it 's been three years and the old and was in need of replacement but no one seems to have an answer on what to actually purchase. There has been some weight gain so needed to go 20" rather than the 18 she had, this one has checked all the boxes. Seems well built and is sturdy. She is in the chair all day and never "fidgeted" in the old one but started to in this one, purchased a 20" cushion as well, seems to working fine. If you're on the fence this is a solid choice. The lock handles could be a bit longer but otherwise all is good! Would recommend.

Mine arrived this weekend and we were able to unpack and pop the foot rests on within seconds. It folds down well, moves well and seems like it is going to work for my mobility needs.

Easy for patient or escort to push and maneuver. The only aspect of the wheelchair not listed in the description is how incredibly easy it is to go from box to rolling out the door. The only 'assembly' required is to adjust the foot rests, which is done without any tools, just using holes and buttons like a cane uses. It would make good marketing/advertising sense to list this piece of informaiton i the product description.

Easy to put the legs on ..that was the only thing to put together. The weight limit not listed and was more chair than I need. On box listed 300lbs + did not need that and chair was a litter large in the seat for me. But all steel wheels excellent for large person.

I am very happy with my Drive Medical Silver Sport 2 Wheelchair. It handles well and gives a comfortable, smooth ride; my husband says it is easy to push and lighter than the one we borrowed before purchasing this. It fits comfortably in the trunk or back seat of our mid-sized car. It corners and turns readily and easily. It has a good, solid and stable feel when you're riding in it. I also got a Drive backpack for carrying things while I'm using the chair, and that complements the package and provides added convenience. The price was excellent, and I'm very pleased with the product.

This wheel chair was purchased for my mother and we love it! We only needed to put the legs on and that was very easy to do. It is the perfect size. We ordered this chair instead of the cheaper one because my mother needed the wider seat. Would highly recommend this chair.

Great 20 inch wheelchair! Something to take into consideration upon purchasing a 20 inch is will the wheelchair fit through the doorways of the home. We can't seem to enter the bathrooms with it. It is a great mobility device. I am satisfied with the purchase.

I am going to return the chair, because it's very shaky, and light weight. I almost flipped out of this chair twice. The seat is very small, and tight I can hardly move in it, and I'm a big girl. The wheels won't spend when I'm pushing with all my might. Sorry this chair is just not for me. Thanks Evelyn Carthen

This W/C was ordered to replace a 2 month old identical wheel chair which showed to have a defective wheel bearing (Left big wheel). I returned it. But within 4 months, this new W/C displays a failing wheel bearing, plus the left wheel brake broke totally off. I'm a retired Nursing Home Administrator, and Drive had been my preference for 25 years. With 2 unreliable basic W/Cs in a row, it's time to explore other brands.
