I love this eye serum. I have tried a sample and I need to have the full size. The formula is so lightweight, and feels great under the eyes leaving the area hydrated and smooth. The texture is perfect amd absorbs fast into the skin. This serum leeps my dry under eyea very hydrated.
I've been using this product for a little over a month and I have been super impressed with the results. I have tried loads of high and anti-aging eye creams, and I finally found the one for me! I enjoy the non-sticky formula and the results I am getting. You twist the top of the bottle to expose the pump, which I love! The bottle seems to be lasting a long time, making it even more cost effective. Finally found my holy grail eye cream! Seriously, just add it to the cart already????
I am 31 and have tired looking eyes—fine lines, dark circles, puffiness, etc. I put it on at night before bed and I think it makes a big difference! Makes me not look like a zombie lol. Don't use every day since it has retinol, 2-3 times per week and have not had a bad skin reaction.
I wanted to love this but it's just eh. It's nice and lightweight. It doesn't have a fragrance which is nice. If you don't really pat it into skin it's dries kind of crusty and flakes off skin. It also hasn't done anything for fine lines or dark discoloration at all and I've been using it for months.
I don't know why they added retinol to this otherwise perfect serum. The previous version was so lightweight, hydrating, and had such unique ingredients you couldn't easily find in other serums. Retinol eye serums are a dime a dozen out there and this just joined the fray at 3x the price of others.
My skin is very sensitive. I splurged on this eye serum, thinking the high price would translate into a product that didn't irritate my skin. I was wrong - it's worse than the eye cream I used before. The skin around my eyes is red and peeling since I started using this. It hurts. I'm scaling back my use from every day to every other day to see if it helps, but I don't feel hopeful. I don't doubt that this is a great product for some (perhaps even most), but for me the price was not justified.
I bought this several months ago and was not impressed but it was too late to return it. I found an alternate use based on ingredients. I started using on my lip lines and it works pretty good. If you are in the same situation you may want to give it a try.
I was about to re-order Shaba in the aqua bottle when I discovered my "old fave" is gone -- replaced by this new "upgraded" formula in a pink bottle that contains retinol. WHAT?!!! It took me years and years to find an eye cream I could use on my eyelids without irritation and now it's gone. I wouldn't dare use this new formula anywhere near my lids so back to searching for eye creams.......
I used the original Shaba eye serum for years and loved it. The retinol is too harsh for my eyes and after repeated use irritates my skin to the point of hurting. I'm going to have to alternate it with a much more moisturizing eye cream to use it up. I hope they bring back the old formula, as the other drunk elephant eye creams are too thick for me.
I didn't care for the way this product sat on my skin, so when I started peeling after two days I just stopped using it. I'm debating reintroducing it slowly to allow my skin to adjust to the actives…even though I don't really like the product. It's a shame because I love Drunk Elephant, but now I'm reticent to try new products purchased directly through the website since returns aren't super convenient.
