[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love ALL DRY BAR PRODUCTS and Double Shot Blow Dry Brush . . Using Charcoal Shampoo for 1st Shampoo and then Big Brew Shampoo for 2nd followed by Big Brew Conditioner then Prep Rally Detangler then Southern Bell mouse and Southern Bell Root lifter also Love the Tiny Tamer Clips / Velcro Rollers / and for mid week Blowout Refresh Love Detox Dry Shampoo amongst other products such as Triple Sec. ect.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I literally will never use another dry shampoo! Let's face it, nearly all dry shampoos have the capacity to leave white powder on darker hair, so I'm not even going to address that here. What is different for me about ALL of the Drybar Dry Shampoos is that it doesn't leave my hair feeling super heavy and requiring me to wash it the day after I use it. As someone who has naturally oily hair, I need a dry shampoo that I can use over several days to extend the life of my very fine hair without it feeling heavy or dry as a desert. This product is the ONLY one I've ever found that checks those boxes, and to top it off, I don't walk around SMELLING like I put dry shampoo in my hair. Instead, it has a mild, appealing scent that I frequently get asked what perfume I'm wearing. Well done, Drybar! Now, can you make the other scents in a jumbo size like you do the Detox variety? :)
This has been my favorite dry shampoo for a few years now however the last couple times I have purchased it, I have to shake it forever to get the stuff to mix inside. I don't know if the formula changed but if you don't shake the crap out of it, this clear stuff comes out that makes my hair oily.
2 x I bought the large size and both times after using half the bottle the spray was clogged . I couldn't get it unclogged and had to throw both bottles away. What a waste of money.
This used to be my holy grail product but the reformulation is awful. Almost no powder comes out, just a jet of liquid that makes my hair even greasier. It's absolutely nothing like it used to be. I'm so sad that I need to find another brand now, and that I have four jumbo bottles I bought on sale that are going straight in the trash.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You are not crazy — they've absolutely changed the formula. This used to be the best dry shampoo EVER - NO longer. The “original” formula now comes out as a brown, gooey spray that makes your hair wet instead of the clean white powder it used to be. They denies it. There are forums online discussing this exact change - NOT your imagination — the formula has been altered, and it's now GROSS - ruined a great product. Do not buy the “original” anymore. And my review probably will not be published.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a replacement for a previously defective bottle. The replacement has the same issues. Feels like I am just spraying water on my hair. No absorbing qualities. Leaves my hair worse off. Wet. Did you change your formula? Too risky to buy this product anymore. In total, I've had 3 defective bottles.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the formula has changed and it's not as good as it used to be. This was my go-to dry shampoo but it no longer sprays on lighter and dry but like a wet spray. Wish the old formula would be available
Loved this product but had to stop buying. Every bottle i get stops spraying way before its empty. So incredibly frustrating especially at this price of.
I love this product HOWEVER my last 3 jumbo bottles 1/3 of the bottle stopped working and wouldn't spray. You can tell there was plenty in there, but it wasted and wouldn't come out. 🫤
