I've only tested it on a portion of my ceiling. Seemed to work fine. I'll cover all my furniture before starting the main project because it will leave some residual particles for cleaning up.
It works good it has multiple speeds and it comes with a good starter pack I did an entire bedroom with one sandpaper it gets dusty but it gets the job done the pictures are a before and after

the unit works well but is heavier than I expected so i am unable to use it for long stretches of time. the vacuum works well and you get a good variety of sanding grades
If you're buying this to take your popcorn ceiling off get ready to clean up the mess. It doesn't vacuum everything. There will be dust everywhere
did not work good on my ceiling, way to heavy for me to use. wanted to return but it is a 3rd party and was past my 30 day return so i am stuck with it .oh well will try to sell
I ordered a new machine %26 received a used one. I've contacted the seller twice %26 haven't received a reply. Safe to say I will never order from this seller again.
The item is broken and i contacted the seller and they stopped responding. The latch for the extension is broken so it doesn't close properly. The dust will come out and trying the hold the latch closed is difficult.
Bought vacuum sander to not make a mess when sanding ceiling but this item did not suction the particles properly so I still made a mess no matter what I adjusted the air know to.
Horrible product. Too heavy to use and it doesn't provide an even surface. Sander skips across drywall, or whatever your trying to sand
