DT Systems Micro-iDT Plus Dog Trainer

We have three dogs. Two are hounds which can be very stubborn. This system is easy to use and the dogs responds great to it. We've been using this system for almost 15 years. I wouldn't use any other training system. I love that all three dogs are on the same remote and I don't have to look at the remote to switch from dog to dog. It's simple and effective! We use this system for hiking and when we are at home(unfenced 2+ acres).

I have had this system for approx. 12 years, I love the one remote for three dogs. I purchased this to upgrade my 12 year old remote... wear and tare...

Our neighbor first gave us his training collar to use. Our dog instantly responded to the vibration. Great great product. Worth every penny

I bought the micro collar minimum of twenty years ago and was prepared to buy another one but I just had to charge it up. After being inactive for at least ten years I just needed the plug for the charging port and that was it. I left it on the charger for a day and it's working fine. This is truly a five star product. This is the third Doberman Pincher I have trained using the collar and it's made my life sooo much easier. Especially with the squirrel chasing. That time I really gave her a Zap, and she never went past the curb again. Plus if the battery needs charging you can tape a c cell to a regular collar and they behave, at least mine did.

I have used them for a least 6 years and needed to replace it. Wonderful item

Although an older unit I got this for the remotes simplicity. The collar battery will last about a half day with some shocks.Would be nice if the remote was also rechargeable, but so far hasn't been an issue. Signal gets through house walls well, has a bit more trouble outdoors. Would still recommend.

Easy to use , have not had a chance yet for extensive test, but have been impressed early on, with the vibrating feature being enough to capture my dogs attention.

After some expierimenting finally found where the charging receptacle was located. How to turn it on and off. Clarity could be implemented. Also a simple inexpensive clip to tether the long tail of the collar would help greatly.

Hatch where 9V battery goes in sticks, looks like it was not manufactured with good tolerances from the factory. There is a visible burr on the edge where it goes in. Clasp is too small and the tongue of it is not secure to the rest of assembly, so it wiggles and moves when you try to put in in a hole. Otherwise a good product electronically. Could use better quality control.

I bought this collar for training my two dogs, the collar has worked great for 3 months and now it won't charge. I have tried wiggling the connectors, looking in the charging port, everything seems to be in place and clean but when plugged into any outlet I don't even get the flicker of a light indicating power even reaching the collar. I will change my rating of the product when the issue is addressed, surely the charging systems should last more than a few months, right?
