I use this with my non-cellular iPad, which does not have GPS for boating with a navigation app. I keep it plugged in down below. It works great. Very accurate.

Real simple to use. Hooked it up to my bluetooth on my tablet and was able to use it as my gps system on my car instead of buying a separate head unit.

The device is really good, but after 10 days it stopped working. I returned it and will buy another one same model same brand.

We use it with an iPad flight services app while piloting our private plane. Usually it shows the plane's route but drops signal sometimes, not sure why.

I tried to connect this device to my WiFi iPad mini 7. I downloaded the status app. The item does pair to the tablet via Bluetooth but I was only able to get it to show that it was connected to the satellites maybe two times. It would always connect to Bluetooth but would not show connections to the satellite or that it was working in the app anymore. I rebooted the device and my iPad several times with the same results. The receiver wouldn't connect any more. The item was new when I got it but seeing I could not get it to connect any more trying more than 10 times or more I returned the device. I caught the device on sale for $95 then saw it dropped to $85 when I returned it. I'm wondering if there is an issue with this device and the newest iOS 26. I did t try it on my android tablet because it already has gps built in. I would beware for anyone trying this on WiFi only iPad. Other than the device only connecting twice I didn't see anything else wrong with it as far as quality. I ordered the Garmin Glo 2 and waiting to see if it does better on WiFi iPad. I could not rate the other functions of the xgps150 because of it not working. I tried the switch set on Apple devices.

It never worked

The Dual GPS would not take a charge and would not function with the charger was removed. Perhaps the Battery was very old and the product was worthless. All Stock should be checked.
