OK tool for occasional use
Purchased for digging a trench for drainage in the backyard. Can't really judge on whether this pickaxe is heavy duty or not, but the convenience and the comfort of the swing leave some space for improvement. I just don't have that solid feel and confidence in it as with some others that I've operated before and always want to be extra careful when other people present close by. I'd prefer the handle to be just a bit broader, possibly with some bulb at the end for a better grip and balance. Can't say anything about the durability, but a few small stones that happened to be in its way were crushed marvelously.
