Great Amp For the Price

RealityDroid October 10, 2016

Yes, it is true that you could get a better amp if you are willing to spend more. But, if you're like me and prefer to set up your car audio on a budget, this amp will work perfectly for the price that is paid. I have this amp bridged to Dual 12" subwoofer, and it sounds great. That being said, it is not the loudest thing in the world. Don't expect it to rattle your car to pieces. Do expect, however, for it to provide a really good kick in bass. As an FYI, the description on this page is wrong. This amp is not a 400Watt amp. It is a 600 Watt amp.

First amp!

Davey May 9, 2016

First amp I ever bought! I purchased this amp because I have a low 20 watt radio and needed to bump it up a notch. Wow this thing really makes my 600watt speakers hit hard and sounds good. It advertises 400watt but when I got it says 600watt. It really improved my radios performance . But il also be purchasing a pre amp eq. to even things out a bit. For the price it would be hard to beat.

Good For What It Is

TE5LA August 8, 2017

The previous reviews about power are all wrong. This amp is 100 watts total RMS @4 Ohms or 150 watts total @2 Ohms. I installed one today for a customer and was surprised that it sounded as good as it did on two Pioneer 600-watt RMS 12" subs at 2 Ohms per channel. This amp accepts only 8 gauge wires so there is no way it is 600 or even 400 watts. IT would require 4 gauge for this. This amp should be used for door speakers and not subs, but if you do subs, use efficient ones and a ported box.

Better than I expected

PleasantlySurprised April 1, 2017

I am using this to power two kenwood 6.5s that I have mounted in my doors. They are connected to a Kenwood KMM-BT515HD. The sound coming out of this combination is surprisingly rich and well textured. The last amp that I used for this setup was an alpine and this sounds better. I am pleasantly surprised. I'll be buying another for my rear doors. I have a 12" Rockford P3 in the trunk with a tuned box. This amp is handling its mid-hi job quite well.

Will get you by...

CharlesB January 9, 2017

Have had this amp for 3 months. Paired with a Pioneer avh-x2800bs and a single kicker 10" (don't remember the model). In this time it has blown some fuses and cuts out if turned up too loud. 3 months from purchase and it stopped working giving me the red LED and blown fuses. Was not turned up loud when it happened. Still in the middle of troubleshooting (may update review later, if I can). Overall, not bad. gets the job done if you want some bass. However, I should have saved the money and put it towards something of higher quality. That's what happens when you're impatient.

Duel audio XPR52

BadabingBadaboom August 1, 2017

Bought a new 600watt xpr52 and a kit to install a new system. Took 4 hours to run all the wires connect the converter ect ect. The proud moment turn on the stereo to some old school Dr. Dre started real nice not real powerful. Running a 700watt pyramid and there was very little power or bass. Started to adjust the bass, gain, ect then all of a sudden...... Nothing! The Amp worked 30 seconds. Went to the trunk and could smell a odd burning smell like wires. Now its a little to early to say for sure if its the Amp or the converter. Given the odor in the trunk I'm willing to bet that is the issue. If you looking for a powerful amp to really be heard don't buy this one.

dont buy

jlovelazquez1 April 17, 2017

Had less than a week and the amp went into protection mode and quit working. You get what you pay for. Cheap price=cheap quality. Would NOT recommend to anyone. Better off just spending the extra money and getting a better amp.
