I got this to cover our bedroom windows this past winter. It was cheaper than the winterization kits, thicker, and one side came pre-taped. It covered two windows, and worked amazingly well. I actually had to put the air on a number of times and rarely the heat. This is a huge change from last year, and impressive considering we have a slumlord out of state company who owns the complex that refuses to fix a misaligned pane of glass. Which means we have air coming in nonstop 24/7. So I do recommend this for that! This has amazing durability, it would be great for a drop cloth and not just weatherization. I used to paint rooms as a side gig in grad school. This would offer good protection to your floor or anything you cover. The tape stuck really well to our wall, even when we had duct tape falling all over creation this held strong.
Tape holds stronger than expected and the drape coverage is wide.
Good sturdy drop cloth, with sticky but not too sticky tape!
This brand was on one of the jobs that I worked on ... and IT was EXCELLENT !!! I've other brands, but first of all , they didn't have a good protective enclosure. Also with other brands, they must be taken off within a week or two, but your DUCK BRAND was on for 4 weeks and came off without ripping the tape part apart. I always wanted to find it and buy it so I saved the container that it came in, This plastic shroud is excellent and the roll of tape with the plastic attached comes out so I can use it with- out the shroud and cutter or with it. Also, a person could but the rolls separately and put them on when changing rolls, and not throwing away the whole unit. What a GREAT IDEA. recycling the product.!!! That must be why you call it a "dropcloth" because it has extra strength to withstand construction site traffic and abuse of all kinds. It was a partially used product when I used it and was all gone when I was done. THANK YOU very much, JH
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad I got this product when I did! We are getting ready to move in a few weeks and have used this a few times now. It is super easy to use- put it where you need it and go on with your project and it catches any drops of paint, sand paper, whatever project you might be working on. It stays put and doesn't move around. Comes back up easily and makes your DIY job look professional! Highly recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is nothing worse than having to worry about getting paint on the floors etc. while painting! This drop cloth is great because it is super durable (as I find many of the Duck brand products to be) and it is also practical in that it is pre-taped so some of the work is eliminated for you!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently completed a paint project in my daughters bedroom which I was SO not looking forward to doing! After all the furniture removal, laying out this dropcloth made the complete project so much more enjoyable because I knew I was not going to have to worry about major messes! The cloth went down really smoothly and when it was time to pull it up and clean up, it all happened so quickly and smoothly! I've always been a fan of Duck brand products and didn't know they offered this product until recently. It will change my concerns for painting from now on!
Plastic is nice quality but tape is poor quality and does not stay. Cheap Painters tape is better quality than the mock duct tape style tape on this item. I'd save the money and just buy a role of plastic and painter's tape .
was not good don't buy it
