Duck Brand General Purpose Masking Tape, 0.94 in. x 55 yd., Beige, 4 Pack

I mainly use this wide masking tape to repair and reinforce boxes and shopping bags I use for various donations. It is also easy to use to lable items I pack in zip closure bags to donate. Wedge sharpies and fine point sharpies write on this tape very well. I would recommend having a roll of this on hand all the time.

I'm a tape-a-holic. I keep every type of tape in my home for every occasion and Duck brand is one of my favorites. This making tape actually holds up. It's a must to keep on hand at all times.

This tape sticks very well without destroying existing paint, allowing any bleeding to occur from the new paint and is easy to remove without using scissors. This tape is also wonderful in helping me to adhere nylon scarves to other fabrics.

My favorite go-to for any job where masking is necessary: painting, sewing, and holding down papers. It goes on great and comes off great, does not leave any residue or remove any paint.

Very good - adheres to paint/wood/metal etc. Use this to anchor thermal drapes at hem above heat register against wall so heat doesn't go up under Drapes as a waste of hot air/Leaves no residue on fabrics. Also used to anchor bubble-wrap against window glass as xtra insulation against the cold/ Great for sealing boxes when rotating winter/summer clothing & bedding

I meant to order the Duck tape, I was using it to insulate the windows with plastic in our home. When I realized I had ordered this instead, I gave it a shot. It unrolled and could be torn by hand much easier! I didn't need scissors to get it torn. It has held up as good as the Duck tape but I used a lot more of it to be safe. I've also used it to secure boxes I've shipped and as long as you do a few layers, it holds up extremely well.

Wasted my money on this! Duck Brand painter's tape has more adhesive on it than this masking tape. I would have expected this masking tape to adhere well but it doesn't . The tape thickness is also too thin. Must remember not to by Duck Brand products.

Don't buy this! The Duck brand masking tape is just awful! Tears on roll when trying to pull tape off it, rips in half and you have to constantly pull more off to even it up. Doesn't always stick well. I only got this brand cuz Walmart always out of Pen %26 Gear brand.

I never thought I'd be writing a review about something seemingly as basic as masking tape, but, this tape was oddly and spectacularly TERRIBLE; it just didn't stick to anything well. Around the time I bought it I had also purchased some other tape via online from misc sources (like AMZN)...so when the ends of the tape curled-up and wouldn't stick to any surface, my first thought was that this tape was probably a knock-off, no-name, Chinese-made, cheapo brand or something -- I'm always looking for a bargain -- and I figured I had messed up and tried a bit too hard to save a buck. So I was really surprised to look at the inside of the roll and see it was mfg by DuckBrand / ShurTech. I've purchased dozens and dozens of rolls of their colorful, flagship "vinyl-like" Duck Tape (aka pseudo Duct Tape) products and have ALWAYS been pleased and it performed as expected. I guess either they just stink at MASKING tape or I got a bad batch.

This is the worst masking tape I've ever used. I purchased a 1.88" wide tape to cover a larger area more quickly. But instead, the tape, time and time again, splits and tears down the middle. And restarting, it just does the same thing over and over again. I am being as careful as I can, but nothing I do helps. I will never, ever purchase this brand of masking tape again.
