[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to secure an area rug that my dogs are always moving. The backing peeled off easily after I applied the side to the floor, so I could secure the rug over it. It's on a hard floor, so it adhered smoothly.

It works so well for hanging something up if I don't want any tape showing. I used to roll tape into a circle with the sticky side out to hang stuff but that would leave it looking kind of bumpy and uneven. This lays nice and smooth so you can't even tell the tape is there. My daughter and I even used it with some craft foam to make our own stickers to decorate a tin. It holds really well. I haven't had any issues with it coming loose on anything I've used it with. It is a bit difficult to remove the layer covering the second side of adhesive but I discovered if I placed the tape on the item I was using it on before removing the strip, it was easier. Overall I am really happy with this double sided duct tape and I know it's going to be used regularly in our household.

The non stick layer is easy to peel from the tape and both layers still tear relatively easy. Also don't stick to scissors if you choose to cut them. The tape itself has the classic duck tape hold on both sides. Exactly what you'd expect!

It's a good width - not like the super wide traditional duck tape. We used this on painted clean walls, so not sure how it'd work on outdoor walls.

I used this to repair some torn leather seats in my work vehicle and it worked perfectly. It has held up over time and in the heat. I'm very impressed by this.

I used it to tape a broken shelf in my fridge. I also added it to the back of a utility shelf in my garage. Both instances are still resolved. I tried with my teeth first because that's what I always do, but that was definitely not happening. When I tried with scissors it was difficult as well. After I finally cut it and placed it on the wall , I tried to remove the blue cover to expose the other side and that was really difficult as well. But after I pulled it off I was able to hang a picture frame easily. I gave it 4 stars because the reason it was so difficult to cut was because this tape is super strong. It will not easily rip even if you use it to seal heavy boxes and that's so important. It may be a little time consuming but it's worth it. This tape is very strong, seems durable and it's great quality. I highly recommend.

Depends what kind of rug backing you have. Didn't stick to the rug but stuck to the floor.
