Great product, recommend to everyone
worked great on my iron stains in my pool
This is ascorbic acid (vitamin C) which is an unbelievable hack (quick fix) for metal staining in the pool. Pool place misdiagnosed the shading on the pool walls and floors as an 'algae'. Nope, not an organic stain - high metal. Sprinkled 1 1/2 lbs for 10,000 gallons of pool water. Let it slide down close to the walls - amazing. Lifts the stains immediately!
This product is very good it serves my purpose very well and very fast however it's probable not fair to reveiw it because I do not use it for health reasons I only use this product for removing the brown stain on my pool liner it's the only product that works although it's very costly for what I use it for but it is what it is at least my pool looks good until the stain comes back then I dose it again someday I hoe to find away to keep the stain from returning I try different things each time I get the stain out but no luck yet
dissolves quickly
Great product, but getting the bucket open is absurd, you could ship drugs in this and inspectors would give up trying to open it, no clue why any product is this hard to open.
Doesn't mix well with other ingredients. Gets clumped up after an hour or so. Will nott reorder if/when I use the 5' bag of it.
Summary: Duda Energy has shady business practices, so buyer beware! If you buy, make sure you have lots of screenshots of your order info to prove what you ordered. WalMart earns an A for resolving the issue, while Duda Energy earns an F. ----- More Details: The listing was for 10 lbs of ascorbic acid, quantity of 2, which equals 20 lbs total. Most people would agree this is very basic math. Initially, I was only sent two 5 lb. bags. I sent multiple pictures as requested by the company, including a picture that proved the shipping weight on the FedEx envelope of 10 lbs. The representative said the mistake was due to a "complete overhaul of the shipping process" but that they had processed the request for 10 additional pounds of ascorbic acid to be sent to me, and a FedEx tracking number was emailed. Upon delivery, I only received one 2 lb. bag. I emailed to ask when the rest of the shipment would be received and I was told they had "thoroughly investigated the issue" and I would not be receiving the remaining 8 pounds I paid for. Duda Energy, honest people would call this stealing, which is what you did. Instead of taking responsibility for what the listing said, even when you were provided proof, you prefer to blame the customer and told me several times that I had received the correct weight I had ordered. Thankfully I had screenshots of the item description and order, because mysteriously the original listing was quickly changed by the company. (Funny how that happens.) The order clearly states 10 lbs, count per pack 2. Duda Energy insisted this meant two 5 lb bags. No. (By the way, this is 4th grade math.) Each WalMart rep that I spoke with agreed that I had ordered 20 lbs. Even though Duda Energy refused to ship the remaining 8 lbs., thankfully WalMart stepped in to help and I was beyond satisfied with their resolution. If this is an ongoing issue, Duda Energy should be removed as a WalMart seller.
The expiration date is crossed off with what appears to be a sharpie. I have initiated the return process via walmart and so far it seems to be hassle free, but I still have to drop the product off at a walmart (time, effort and not in possession of the product I needed)
I do not understand something, if this is pure ascorbic acid, why will it not dissolve in WATER?!!!! I don't get it, something's not right. I read Kathy's review and she stated it works great for her. We are both using this product for the same purpose and it must be dissolved in water. Well well well......... not for me. I guess we sure got different batches, different products, from different locations or whatever. Are there any other ingredients in this? It is supposed to be pure. Although it is written on the box this way I most definitely don't believe it. I was thinking of getting it tested to see if there are any other ingredients it until I thought about spending my money. I just will not purchase this product again. It was too good to be true. Especially when the prices of others, compared to this one, are so much more expensive. That old saying, "you get what you pay for". Yes I did. I wasted too much of my money
