A little extra cushion for training is ideal
Bought as a Christmas gift for a growing 8yo to practice with, and she liked the bit of extra "cushion" in had. I got her 2 more once it got her seal of approval!

Great training ball.
Great soft training ball for my 6 year old who's learning the game. I enjoy using it with her and she has enjoyed many hours using it with the ball net I purchased with this training ball. I would absolutely purchase it again.

size is between baseball and softball
Ball is smaller than a regular softball but also this helps in learning with catching and throwing for my 7 year old granddaughter. Fits better in her hands!

Beginner's friend
It has been ages since I played softball and wasn't sure what to buy to practice with my little one. This was perfect. And the quality feels better than I was expecting. Definitely recommend for a kiddo starting out.
