Duke Cannon Hurricane Hold Strong Pomade for Men, Maximum Hold, 2 oz

This pomade has excellent hold without it being stiff. The smell is a plus, it smells amazing! It was easy to wash off of hands after use and also easy to wash out of hair at the end of the day. Top notch!

The top of my thick hair is maybe 3" long, so I need product to keep it out of my face and pulled back - but not in a slicked back way, in a more natural way. It's low shine, I spread it through my dampened hair in the morning, and it allows for re-shaping throughout the day whether I want it more straight back or like to let it fall around my temples . So it threads the needle very well on hold strength, natural look, and adjustability. Definitely my long haul product, and I have tried maybe 10 different ones to get it right.

New formula sucks, it's watery. Basically new formula contains more water and is no longer a paste, but a cream. This to to increase profits by keeping the product line at the same price. It now sucks and will no longer buy. Alternative, Pacino's makes a good product for about the same price, though I preferred the old Hurricane Hold over it.

Not sure why companies keep changing their formulas around but this stuff used to be my go-to and was outstanding especially for the price. Recently changed labeling and secretly changed the formula as well. I noticed it didn't work like the original stuff and after comparing ingredients, they definitely changed things up. Wouldn't say it's high hold, doesn't feel like anything special. Really screwed this one up.
