I purchased the soil moisture tester for my inside plants, so that I wouldn't over-water. I previously owned the same item which needed to be replaced. This one works perfectly and the price was more than reasonable. Delivery by mail was very good as well. I should have purchased two.

I love this item. I have far too long been over-watering my flowers and I wasn't able to correct myself, no matter how much I tried. I am just no good at being able to tell with my fingers. I was searching for something that could help me, and had found this little gadget. It has helped me so much in figuring out when the soil is dry enough to water. I look forward to finally having beautiful flowers. I am completely thrilled to have this meter in my hands. Finally, Happy Growing :)

Works great. It gives an instant read of soil moisture. Easy to use, easy to read, and proof to me that I was over watering all along. The probe diameter is not small, so having only one to push through the soil is a benefit for my needs. I didn't need to measure ph and a second probe would only disturb the soil and roots twice as much.

I don't dare water any plants indoors or outdoors, and I have a lot, without my moisture meter. Different flowers in my window boxes take different amount of water so I stick the boxes or pots in several locations. They actually are fairly delicate, so I always have several on hand so if one goes out I have another waiting in the wings!

Oh these are great little gems; all people that garden in pots or indoor plants should have one. Works great on my African Violets because they do not like "wet feet" so sometimes they look like they need a drink; all droopy, etc, when in fact they are soggy wet. This little gem tells you exactly how wet or dry they are!! Yay!!

There's never a question as to whether or not your plants are getting too much or not enough water. This meter is precise when measuring the soil dampness.

Simple and easy to use device .Tells you if the roots are dry or moist . My wife used it to check all the household plants in just a few minutes . Have not tried it outside yet .

Very fragile. May be ok for indoor potted plants but I used it in an outdoor bed and it broke the first time I used it. But it seems all of these type meters are fragile. It is accurate.

Lasted 6 weeks using twice a week on three pots. Needle stuck either to the left right or middle. Banging it to reset the needle loses my confidence that its accurate.
