Dulcolax Stimulant Laxative Medicated Suppositories, Predictable & Effective Constipation Relief, Softens Stool, Bisacodyl 10 mg, 4 Count

This product was recommended to be by a nurse after my bowels became impacted from medications given to me during and after surgery. None of the laxatives, softeners and fiber products they had given me worked. The suppository worked within an hour. I always keep these suppositories on hand. They work better than I have ever tried.

These work well and quickly. Within 30 minutes or so after insertion you will feel the urge to go, no cramps or abdominal pain involved. As a Registered Nurse, I would recommend these for occasional use, but avoid using this or any stimulant laxative for long-term use.

Dulcolax laxative is my go to. I am on several medications that cause me constipation and these are the best I have found for relief. They are fast working, no cramps. just relief. They are cost sufficient, no side effects and no interactions with my meds.

Not sure why taste is an option for the review. I have them 5 stars for taste anyways. These puppies definitely work. If you can “retain” them for 30 minutes you'll be set. Just make sure you're close to your crapper for a few hours or you'll definitely defile your pants. Also, make sure to wash your finger after insertion. 😂

I read all the reviews, bought it, used it, it worked. I had to lay down after. No one mentioned the aftershocks. Didn't know I would feel my pulse back there.

Dulcolax fast acting is all that!! It's like a wax, easy to glide. Relief for me in 6 min or less. I use it when I feel gassy. It cleans me out..gas gone!! Poo gone!!

If you, or someone you care for, has problems having a bowel movement because of regular constipation or has a dry plug (blocking) due to medication or etc, these suppositories work wonderfully. You have to make sure that it stays in for 20-40 minutes %26 it'll break down a plug %26 make it pass easily %26 it gives that urge to "go" too. If it's really bad, or has been more than a few days since they've been able to go, be sure to take (or give) 2 Dulcolax Stool Softeners at bedtime the night before (the "equate" store brand works as well), which rehydrates the stool %26 also gives that urge to go as well. And then after breakfast, insert one of these suppositories %26 wait for that 20-40 minutes. (Sometimes just those 2 stool softeners, or just this suppository, will work without the other. But they're fantastic together if %26 when they're needed) I hope this helps someone.

I didn’t like have to shovel this up my bum, but it slide in nicely. I then hung out and played some Xbox until I felt a sudden urgency, like I was going to explode. Made it to the bathroom, and sure enough, I erupted like a volcano. I didn’t add a picture, because really, nobody should see that.

I took this and it had my butt burning which i googled and it said that that’s normal. So after 10 mins of it being in i had to goooo but it said wait 15-30. I wished i could’ve waiting 20 mins but at 15 minutes i couldn’t hold it any longer. This had my stomach hurting like a detox tea. Also i don’t know if it just me but even tho i had to go i couldn’t it took awhile for me to go. I guess i was really constipated. I needed up going but a normal amount. I thought it would be making me go a lot but so far it didn’t kinda disappointed. After you go and the cramps kinda stop your butt will also cool down

The 6-12 hour timeframe is not reliable and sometimes it takes around 16 hours to work. Taking one is sometimes not enough and taking 2 is sometimes too much. It would be great if there were 1/2 mg tablets which would fix the dosage issue. Also the instructions are not clear. On the package it will say with your evening dinner and on the website it shows any time during the day with a glass of water. Either way, the product does not accurately work with a scheduled 6-12 hours
