I took a Wilton decorating class and the leader there recommended these. She said you could bake from scratch but why would you if it turns out this good from a mix. My mother loves this cake with peanut butter fudge frosting and crushed peanut butter cups on the border. I haven't had the heart to tell her I don't make it on my own

I love to bake and follow complete recipes but this mix is so good especially for a rich chocolate cake that I don't mess with other recipes. The directions are easy to follow and it stays super moist while you are cooking it. Definitely will buy again.

This mix has worked well for birthday cakes the past few years in my house. I usually add Chocolate chips into the batter as well for an extra something. I make homemade frosting for the top (unless short on time) and the cake is usually finished then and there. No left overs! This is also good to pair with canned pumpkin (omit eggs and oil) for a dense cake.

I will buy this when I am making a chocolate cake recipe that calls for a cake mix and a lot of other ingredients. It's just extra fluff to my cake. I'll put this in a Bundt cake and it creates an elite gooey fluffy chocolate cake and no one can tell that it is a boxed cake.

We have this mix in the pantry at all times. This is the normal base for almost all the birthday cakes we bake throughout the year. It is super chocolatey, so moist and a crazy good deal! This is my choice for baking cakes, including when it is my turn to pick my birthday cake.
