Duncan Hines Comstock, Cherry Pie Filling and Topping, Ready to Use, 21 oz.

So many bad reviews. I love this stuff. And so does everyone in my family. We love the gooey stuff that surrounds the cherries. My biggest complaint is that I can no longer find Comstock cherry pie filling in any of my local grocery stores. The stores nearby are large chains, so I'm surprised that I cannot find it. I finally had to order it online, and now I have enough cans to make probably five or six pies. Please investigate why I can no longer find this product in my supermarket.

I typically buy Comstock when I need cherry pie filling. The no sugar added is certainly a bonus for me. However, I have already found two stems in this can (I have only used 3 teaspoons). I still have the rest of the can to go. One, I found when I opened the can and the other one, I found when I took a bite of my cheesecake and bit straight into a stem. I love this cherry pie filling but the stems have to go. I do realize it can be a natural occurrence when it comes to cherries, but it certainly appears to take away from the quality that I have seen in the past.

The online listing says these cherries have vegetable juice for color. When the cans arrived they have red 40 instead. Disappointing as this was the reason I chose these cans specifically.

I purchased the Comstock brand because it is usually the best for Chery Pie Filling. I use the deeper pie pan so it usually takes three cans for a pie. Imagine my surprise when I had to use four cans in order to have enough cherries in my pie. I had to use four cans in order to have enough cherries in my pie. Had to throw out a considerable amount of sauce. It was very, very disappointing

i faced issue regarding dual expiry on the product. One date mentioned with expiry month and other expiry day.Explain is this real issue ?

This had a lot of the gel and not a lot of cherries. I used it for cherry squares that I made, and I felt like I didn't have enough cherries. It would be good for a topping where you like more of the gel in it.

I thought I ordered Comstock Extra Fruit Cherry Pie filling, but I received regular cherry pie filling. I wanted the "Extra Fruit" can. I was disappointed.

The can I bought had maybe 8 or 10 cherries and a lot of sweet goop to fill the can. One cherry was black and rotten. Normally I have had good luck with this brand but the quality of the cherry pie filling wasn't what I was used to.

im a home baker that bakes and sells cheesecake, pies, cales, cupcakes and more. unfortunately the last few hundred cans we bought (even with experation dates still valid) they were all completely molded, brown and nasty

Both cans of Cherry Pie filling badly dented; one can of the 4-pack of stewed tomatoes dented so badly it was leaking.
