Duncan Hines Lemon Supreme Flavored Cake Mix, 15.25 oz.

Great product use it all the time only choice I’d have! Great lemon flavor used it now for years can’t tell her can’t tell you how many lemon cakes I have made with this cake mix! Did cake decorating for a while this is the cake that everyone requested !

It contains 15.25 oz as opposed to Betty Crocker 13 oz. Betty Crocker will be losing a lot of customers if they dont put the entire cake mix in the box. I've always loved this brand but started using Duncan Hines when the amount in Betty Crocker got shorted.

I made this as is, with only adding one extra egg, whereas I usually use milk in place of water, and add pudding mix. That wasn't needed with this mix. My family complimented this cake over and over again. It paired wonderfully with raspberry filling and lemon frosting.

This package made 36 mini cupcakes and, although I do not have a beater and used a whisk for stirring, the cake mix was fluffy. The finished cupcakes, after following the recommended baking time, are wonderfully fluffy with and light lemon flavor.

I found a hack online to make the cake mix taste like it was bakery bought. Instead of oil add butter. Instead of water add milk. Instead of 3 eggs add 4 eggs. In addition, add 1tsp of vanilla extract and one package of lemon pudding. Made this into a pound cake and it was delicious.

It is perfectly moist. I use it in several different recipes even outside of what is on the box. I use it for lemon squares. I use it for cake balls. It's just delicious.

This mix makes a delicious, moist, fluffy cake. It's so easy to make and only requires eggs, water, oil, and whatever you plan to grease your pan with. This is definitely a favorite in my family and often requested.

Duncan Hines has given in to ShrinkFlation like just about everyone else, but this mix does help save a little time at Easter, when there is so much else to do. I have made lemon Easter basket cupcakes since the 1960s, and have always preferred Duncan Hines over Betty Crocker. I use freshly squeezed Meyer lemon juice instead of water though, and milk or pineapple juice instead of water with their other mixes.

There's NO taste of real lemon and very dry. Highly recommend adding another large egg or only duck eggs. Texture would be much better using duck eggs. Also, add 1-2 Tablespoons of real lemon juice. Seriously, this product is not great. Adjustment are a MUST.

Don't know why, but these cake mixes seem to have cha ged in many ways. Less in box, smaller cakes, less flavorful, different consistency... I've started just baking more from scratch.
