This wagon is a beast. I bought for my nephews but I see my sister using it all of the time for gardening. It has pretty big wheels that roll over almost any type of ground or gravel. The wooden side rails are screwed in, but they are much thicker than what I recall my childhood wagon had when delivering papers. The price is more than the fabric type of wagons, but I'm happy I know they will have something to last for years.
OK quality. Easy to build, expect about a hour plus. The steel is somewhat thick and ok. Although it will dent fairly easy. Hardware is good and packaged well. Fit and finish is very good. Tires have a strong rubber smell. The instructions are very good. A couple of things I do not like: 2) The front steering has three parts that are plastic 2) The wood sides finish looks hurried and barely one coat of finish. Plastic over time does deteriorate and this uses two pieces on the steering mechanism and one piece holds the handle on. This is integral of the front turning steering and should be redesigned. The wood sides were screwed together, but the finish is just average. Edges are sharp, some un- sanded, and the finish is very thin. Packaging is such the tires rubbed on the wood and left black marks. I am not sure what the wood species is, but is between pine and popular in hardness. I will refinish the wood before I attach. Also, the instructions have the wood sides installed before the wheel installation. I would put the wood sides on last. Compared to the early built in USA wagons, it doesn't compare. This is made in china. Although there are few USA made options, spend the extra money and consider Made in America.
I ordered this wagon for my grandsons first birthday party. It was missing the front and back brace pieces so I didn't get to put it together and give it to him at his party.
