Dune (2021) (Walmart Exclusive) (Steelbook) (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray)

I originally bought this on Walmart online and it arrived a bit damaged so I went to go exchange it in person and I am glad I did. I had been wanting the Dune steelbook after I fell in love with the Dune series. I think the glow-in-the-dark feature is unique and innovative. I am very pleased with this purchase. I would recommend if you are interested.

This DVD was new to me. I had not heard of it existence and I went to Google and googled it and it said it was a Walmart exclusive DVD so I clicked on the Walmart link off of Google and it led me to my local Walmart store in Fairlawn Virginia And I purchased one and it was shipped and delivered to my front door the very next !! Very fast and efficient service and easy to order and pay online! Thank you

In most cases I wouldn't post a review or even purchase a physical copy of a movie since everything is online and can be streamed. My rule of thumb is if it's something I really enjoy/love I'll purchase it and if not then I won't. After watching this on Max, I loved it and couldn't help myself. I had to have the physical copy. Dune is a refreshing cinematic experience compared to every other movie being filmed with green screen. The locations and shots were to say the least amazing and unforgettable. The script, acting, tone, and score was a perfect fit. It's not for everyone but it was for me. I highly recommend!

4K glow in the dark is awesome but…… I Wish they used some new artwork for this special edition What they went with doesn't highlight the glowing feature. I also wish it came with the digital code.

One of my favorite movies so had to add the steelbook to the collection, but I wish there was just a regular steelbook and not the glow in the dark version. It's kind of gimmicky and tacky to me.

The film itself is 5 stars but this overpriced and underdelivering Steelbook release is 2 stars. First of all, the glow in the dark doesn't work even a little bit in a completely dark room. I guess it needs a black light to glow, but that takes it from mostly useless to completely and utterly useless. I don't understand why Walmart didn't just re-release the Best Buy Steelbook which was far, far superior to this one. I don't mind the blue color scheme as much as other people but even still, having the art be a bunch of floating heads is lame. The Atreides sigil on the back and the inside artwork is cool enough at least, but I honestly think the inside artwork should have been on the outside. Also, this arrived with some light scratching on the front and sides, so Walmart should be ashamed that they're passing off damaged products as new. I can't even get a replacement since it's out of stock now, and I probably wouldn't even ask because I don't trust Walmart to deliver a less damaged version. As predicted, Walmart is woefully mishandling Steelbook shipping just as Best Buy once did. No change here, move along. If you love Dune and you like the blue color scheme floating heads artwork and you don't care about "glow in the dark," go ahead pick this one up. Or just pick it up if you're desperate like me to have a Dune Steelbook right now since this is the only one available at retail price. But I'll probably regret this purchase when they inevitably re-release the film with cooler artwork one day. In the meantime, I wish Walmart the worst and hope they give up on Steelbooks and pass them along to an actually competent company
