Worth the upgrade for fans of Lynch's Dune
What is there to say about David Lynch's Dune? If you like it, this is worth picking up. It has a better quality transfer than the bluray and is packed with features. Unfortunately, the case isn't packed with much either. So if you are looking for collectibles, booklets, posters, etc., you won't them here.

"David Lynch'
My opinion of this 1984 David Lynch film might be a bit biased. Because we both go way back to the beginning. As I saw this film on its release in the theaters. Many reviewers of this film really don't seem to appreciated it as I do. They find it utterly confusing %26 completely incoherent. I'm not sure what film they ended up watching. But in my opinion, it wasn't this one. I would highly recommend this Sci-fi adventure, classic to anyone who enjoys a slightly bizarre, severely atmospheric space epic!

not comparable with the new movies, but a fascinating piece of history. David Lynch's adaptation is highly flawed, but has some interesting designs, ans poeces of the story that aren't covered in the new movies. Not for everyone but worth a watch for any one interested in film history, or the work of david lynch.

Fantastic version of a great book series
Great attempt at putting to books to film. Only complaint I have is the CGI hasn't held up well, but I feel this is largely forgivable considering how true to the books they stayed (something the theatrical versions can't claim.)
