I like the detail on the figurines! The four metal characters are well made and stand easily. I do wish Beholder had a better stand. It is made of clear plastic and one fall can break it. His head is firm and the eyestalks are a softer plastic. Since the die cast figurines are heavy and well made, they should not be given to a child under 12 years of age due to their weight and small size. The package indicates 12+. Die cast items are not perfect, but these surely are close. Tiny imperfections of the base of some figurines, but overall, they look great!
I am 60 years young and I have been a coin collector for many decades now and just a few years ago I started dabbling in Toys as collectibles. These came nicely packaged with plenty of eye candy colors to entice any age. Though small in size these have some pretty nice details for Die-Cast figures and I took some close ups to show what I mean. I do not know much about Dungeons & Dragons but I will know more soon. The box does warn parents that children under 12 should not play with these. I can tell these will last for years and years and will look even better on display with my other collectible toys.
My son was thrilled when I gave him his new set of dungeons and dragons characters! They are made from a solid metal and the details on each figure is very well done. Now my kids can go on more quests and can choose from new kinds of characters to help defeat the monster!
If you are a toy collector, or just want a cool toy for your kids to play with then Jada Toys Nano Dungeons and Dragons is the perfect selection. The figures look just like the characters in the video game. Each figure is finished with detail in mind. Each Dungeons and Dragons figure has been carefully crafted out of die-cast metal so they will withstand a heavy amount of play from kids. I plan on leaving them in the box as collectibles. One box contains 6 figures from the video game. These are a nice addition to my toy collection.
If you play Dungeons and Dragons, would like to learn how to play and even for the fantasy lovers alike, you will find great enjoyment with these miniatures. I have never played the game so I went to YouTube and watched a group a four guys playing Dungeons and Dragons. The game can last 4 to 5 hours. After the first episode of game play I was hooked! This is a board game filled in with each players imagination, role of the dice and crack up laughter. Anyway, the miniatures alone, would make an interesting display or better yet, collect them all and host a Dungeons and Dragons game!
These die-cast figurines are very well made. They feel as good as they look in weight and in quality. They are of good size, as well. Every wizard is clearly numbered on the bottom of each character. I was pleasantly surprised at the detail on them all. They represent the Dungeons & Dragons characters as well as I had ever imagined. I suspect these will quickly become collectors items. These would make great holiday gifts for any Dungeons & Dragons aficionado. Roll-on, Dungeon Master! .....#20!
I love how they look and are made better than I thought they would be. Packaged well and you can keep them in the box and still display them if you don't want to take them out.
I gave these to my 13 year old grandson. These are well made collectible figures. He has other metal figures from Star Wars and Halo, but he is unfamiliar with Dungeons and Dragons. The figures do not look or feel cheap. Well painted and very detailed. I would think these would probably be more popular with someone familiar with D&D, but I do think they would appeal to kids/teenagers who are into collectibles. While you could play with these, they are really for display, room decoration/collection.
Sturdy and look good. Great price.
I thought that these would be a great addition to my collectibles. I don't they quite fit in. The metal material it is made of is pretty good but the paint on the figures are kind of off. They look good from a distance but when you look closely you can see the imperfection. For someone like me, I pay very close attention to detail. It bothers me a lot when things are not nice and neat. It looks as though someone colored out of the lines.
