Affordable, easy set up, great quality image. So far I’m happy with the product. Only gripe was I had to change out existing extension power cords to new C type connections. All and all a happy customer. I’ll need to change out my dad’s house cameras and these dual cams will work easily. I’m a long time Wyze cam fan, even though I need to pay for the annual recording I think it’s worth it.
I am happy with the performance of the Duo Cam in most respects. It is exactly how it was described in the literature. However, I wish they had a longer focal length. That is my fault for not considering the distance across the area that I am trying to cover.
This duo camera is fantastic. Good range and no blind spots. Plan is worth it, has features that I was looking for, like color night view, pan/tilt, zoom, siren, flood light, 2 way audio, motion tracking, detection zone, optional sd card.
Love the duo cam. We have it set up in our back yard so the fixed cam is facing the yard and the pan cam covers the yard and the woods around the yard.
The stationary camera helps make up for the AI shortcomings of the Cam Pan which still flags and tracks cars passing by as "person". Now I have a constant view of the front of my house that isn't distracted by a car driving by when my kids are waiting for the bus. Fix this AI issue and Wyze is 5 stars.
This is not my first Wyze camera and I love them all. I would give it 4.5 stars if there were half stars. My only complaint is the nuisance alerts due to the fact all their cameras completely ignore exclusion zones. So, if you have a shrubbery or tree in the view - even excluded - you will get constant motion alerts on a breezy day. Yes, you can filter out motion alerts and tell it not to notify you - but not all motion alerts are junk. This camera is great for my situation where my garage extends out past the rest of my house. By putting the camera on the corner of the garage, it is able to pan around and survey the entire yard which a normal fixed camera cannot do.
awesome capture but has some flaws, zooming in is a pain and can only be done on the app not the portal and being disabled this is not easy for me the security lights are bright easy setup pics up sound from far away alarm is loud the warning is Great feature but if you live in a busy area I recommend turning it off as it is loud at night
It will stay focused on the neighbor's moving tree branches and there is no way to exclude an area or zone to exclude from detection. Then, the panning camera will stayed focused on the darn tree branches and not catch or track the person walking up the other side of the sidewalk. Seriously?! Zones or areas should be able to be blocked like from detection so the panning doesn't keeping rotating and staying focused on the waving tree branches.
I have older version of your camera I am pleased with it. However the Wyze Cam Pan Duo I noticed the night vision seems black and white no color. How do I make the same night vision with my Wyze Cam Pan 3? Thanks
Camera was not good. It would not track people or cars, it would freeze up and just stay in one position. I called support every time it happened and they got it back working but in a matter of an hour or so it would freeze again. Wyze gladly responded with a refund. This was a replacement for my Wyze Solar DuoPan Cam which was installed properly, working great but Wyze took it off line anyway. Disappointing.
