my favorite candy red
i usually put down a layer of flat black first, followed by rustoleum gold, and finish with the red on top. (Let each layer dry for a day). Do light coats as this stuff will run on you. Build it up layer by layer and by the 3rd or 4th coat you will be in the good zone for results.

Will buy again
This stuff is great overall. Used it for Halloween decorations and it looks like real blood. Using it for my work bench and other garage items and it looks great. I dont really like the spray tip on these cans though. More likely to create runs.

Translucent Ruby Red
Candy apple red is translucent esp. when used with a bright silver metallic undercoat its color, depth and clarity are amazing - gem like ruby red.

not the easiest to work with
i used a black coating then a metallic silver spray paint. and then the red for 3d printed stuff and it worked good. gets clogged easily
