color does match pretty close but you've got it fade it just right to get the metal flake to reflect the same. much easier with solid colors. Ignore the clear coat offering they have and use a 2K glamour clear (still available in disposable spray can). No matter what you do it's going to sputter. I've done touch ups on about @9 project cars using this brand/product and the nozzles always clog and start throwing out globs. Buy more than you need so you can switch if this starts happening as nothing you do can fix it when it starts. while I used to prefer DupliColors fan nozzle, the other big brands select a shape nozzles are better. I wish duolicolor would switch to those too as they have the color match on point. just be aware it's usually a bit darker and if you don't fade the paint and instead try to tape off a square, it's never going to match. be prepared to blend the base and then clear the entire panel you are working on to do it the right way. if it's not a super important repair you can blend a 2k clear but you will have to come back and wet sand down to 2000 grit and then buff with compound and then polish to get it finished up. will not last as long with a clear blended as it offers easier place for a peel to start. Again I'll say, best to blend the base and then clear entire panel.

Bought two cans of perfect match P4 for a 2003 dodge 1500 pick up. Cans were shaken as directed and more. While the color match was very close, the nozzles on both cans were next to useless. Paint splattered everywhere on the truck in big drops. Most of the paint ended up on the ground. Had the sand the entire painted area off.

I bought this to fix scuff marks on my Hyundai Sonata's bumper, thinking one can each of filler/primer, paint, and clear coat would be enough. Taping and priming went fine, but the paint process was frustrating. I mistakenly removed the diffuser cap (thinking it was a cap), causing globs and drips on initial application. After sanding (and removing some OEM paint), I bought more cans and used the diffuser properly—but the paint was thin, ran easily, and didn't cover well. Even after nine cans (YES NINE CANS), the color still doesn't match the OEM white, and I haven't applied the clear coat yet. It's puzzling why the primer does not come in white, it might just be a way to sell more paint. Bottom line: unless you're experienced, get professional help or solid advice before attempting this yourself.
