DUPLICOLOR PAINT TSP102

Primed trunk with a light gray primer and than sprayed gray/white trunk paint worked GREAT !! Looks GREAT too !!

I used this to repaint my boat. Almost a perfect match to the original color. My only problem was reading the fine print instructions. I also could not find information about drying time. Had to go online to get that.

Very little spatter if any at all. It comes out mostly green. Did not match black and aqua spatter from previous Duplicolor black aqua spatter paint. Expect to use a lot of cans. I used 3 cans for mostly touch up coverage. I am hoping it is better at water resistance than it is with spatter.

I bought 15 cans did my entire trunk, Engine bay & undercarriage. Well let's say I wish I seen the reviews before making this mess. My car came back from body shop all dusty so I decided to hose to get dust of well the dust stayed but this paint didn't. Beautiful but not durable. What a mess I have to deal with now.

This is not like the spatter paint that was made years ago (pic below). The newer paint specs are like pin pricks compared to the one that is pictured below, so if you want it to look like or close to factory the new stuff is not it, try to find what I have in the picture if you can (again the pictured can is the good stuff) I can't find it on this website so probably is not made anymore, pity

I just did a trunk restoration for my 64 Chevrolet Corvair and I can not tell how upset I am at the color. Obviously, there has been some formula change and paint splatter mechanism change. Your paint used to be water based and it required a clear sealant, but the dot pattern on the white was a fairly good pattern that could come close to matching the original spatter paint from the factory. This new paint is horrendous. It is more like a gray paint with a barely seen white dot which doesn't even remotely look like your old paint, or blend into the original style paint, which your old one did an ok job of... You can see in this photo how far off it is from the original. Original paint is in the upper right hand corner, and your current paint is seen below it. I have wasted my money, my work and my time with your paint. Now I have to find another paint to use and redo all my work. Tell your chemists and product managers that this change is a terrible decision and highly mis-leading when you market this as "restores factory trunk appearance" and "has been formulated to replicate the appearance of factory trunk interiors" as you state on your can label.

I used this paint on the inside sides of an aluminum boat, the surface was prepped and primed recommended primer. Over 6 months after painting, the boat was cleaned and washed with dish soap and water. The paint became soft and was rinsing off with a garden hose. I understand that that this is for inside a car trunk, but I did not think this was that different if and application. We are disappointed to say the least.

I followed the instructions. Sprayed over a properly cleaned, dry surface. First off, the coverage is terrible. Took 4 cans to do a reasonable coat in a regular size car trunk and still not full coverage. I allowed the recommended drying time between coats. You can't rush anyway, because the paint just moves around if you spray it heavy. So after a week of drying ina shop at 70 degrees, the paint feels a bit rubbery to the touch, and it scrapes right off with a fingernail. Not impressed at all with this product.

I tried this and it was supposed to be black and aqua, it had no black that i could detect, looked nothing like the GM original paint that was there

Paint not as good as OER, color and consistency not correct for my 1970 Chevelle.
